I had the same problem with my Mk1. And it was the CAT CONVERTER. I removed a few parts, got her back to stock, took it to my ford dealer and had it replaced under warranty.....runs sweet again!!! But I'm no mechanic.

Whats the ride like on 20's?

Hi all, I've found the rims I want. Incubus Paranormal. The problem is 18's don't cut it. They are available in 20*8.5 Will they fit the BA without any dramas or should I start looking for other rims? Cheers.

I've had my BA mk1 T for 3 days and the Throttle fault indicator light just came on whilst I was driving......then the car switched off and I lost EVERYTHING (brakes, steering) WTF. Has this happen to anyone else? Lucky the car is under New Car Warranty.......
