  1. Pretty sure stock base fuel pressure isn't 58psi. Closer to 45-50psi.
  2. Ah yeah, should be a standard 1.06AR option. The GTX3582 gen 2 option isn't bad either, you just can't get near its potential on BA motor
  3. Get this https://www.pulsarturbo.com.au/collections/gtx-gen2/products/pulsar-turbo-gtx3076r-gen2-turbocharger Get Max to tune. You're probably looking at $2500 inc labour. That is as cheap as you'll get out of this
  4. Totally worth it. But, you will uncover issues along the way. There are heaps that often aren't talked about relating to loom damage, electrical connectors, sensor failures etc 260,000km on a well maintained, non modified barra is probably not too bad. Just need to ensure its never been overheated, and you do preventative maintenance like new cooling system, trans service etc
  5. I've got a T-56 Magnum. Clutch is a Mal Wood twin plate. Seems like a good combo. Sounds spot on Puff. Stabbing the throttle on idle results in coughing and spluttering with AFRs bouncing around from 10 to 22
  6. Breakfast laps at QR sucked. The track was wet, so I had zero traction. A few people crashed, so I'm lucky I avoided that. And nothing broke, which is handy. Just refining the tune. Having issues with it leaning out between gear changes, so I get hesitation. I'm assuming decel settings need to be investigated. Anyone do momentary ignition cut on gear changes, clutch switch activated?
  7. Could be a bunch of issues, but agree with the others, it's definitely not right. Could be a massive boost leak somewhere. Or actuator. Or exhaust leak. I wouldn't trust those guys with a new turbo if they can't get your current setup right
  8. Finally got the car back! Can confirm 600kw is fun. Got a breakfast laps coming up next week where I look forward to not risking jail time when I plant it.
  9. Can't wait to see the G40 results! I think originally, the G40-900 with the 62mm compressor was rated at 1000hp. So it might actually be the one to go for if response is a consideration
  10. Pretty well I imagine haha. G40-1150 with the T4 twin scroll 1.06 would be my pick though.
  11. Agreed. Although the RB guys haven't really taken to the G series. They seem to favour displacement. Pretty amazing what can be done with a 62mm compressor these days though.
  12. Thanks man. Yeah it should be. I'm stoked at the response achieved. Pretty hard to do better out of a single scroll, single gate setup, making that sort of power. I'd say my initial thoughts on the G35-900 were pretty accurate. It beats a GTX3582 gen 2 in both power and response.
  13. I actually don't have it back yet, still a couple of small things to sort. That bottom one was gate pressure bleeding down. Pretty impressive efficiency out of the G35-900, even at relatively low boost. And there is some good data there on the turbine housing change.
  14. Ok, here are some dyno graphs. Built vs unbuilt motor. G35-900 1.01 vs 1.21 Final vs run-in.
  15. Ok, new boost controller resulted in better boost control, but it wasn't able to hold 25psi up top. So, it tapped out around 610rwkw. Super happy hitting over 600, with response goals met (I think, haven't driven it yet). I still won't get the car back for around a week, so dyno sheet will be uploaded then.
  16. How did Peddars not pick that up? Front wheel bearing is a simple job...
  17. I'm more concerned about breaking the crank, oil pump, or diff to be honest 😄 I'll have to go a steel bodied oil pump down the track...
  18. There are still a couple of minor boost leaks they're sorting out. Who'd have thought plazmaclamps would have issues? I'd say the turbine itself is struggling, but maybe a better boost controller will help it hold. Either way, it is exactly where I want it. Didn't expect it to go over 600
  19. More updates. Rear housing swapped to 1.21. A few boost leaks fixed around the plazmaclamps. Apparently it hasn't lost much down low at all. It hits 19psi by 3000rpm. And then hits 610rwkw. 25psi bleeding down to 21psi up top. New boost control solenoid going in to see if it can hold boost up higher. I know I owe graphs, will get them when I pick the car up.
  20. This will give you an idea. These are the CVs you want https://www.cartel-aus.com/product/driveshaft-shop-ford-2008-falcon-1400hp-full-chromoly-level-5-axle-hub-kit-supercharged-v8-and-turbo-6/ Nearly $4k just for those. They require a bit of work to fit as well. Even if you go for the ones below this (rated to 700hp), you're still looking at over $3k. IMS diff hat requires quite a bit of work too. It all adds up...
  21. DO NOT order anything from Torqeline. There are various topics from people that have been scammed. Various topics on driveline on here also. If you want to do your rear end properly, expect to pay close to $10k if you're getting someone else to do it.
  22. https://www.golebysparts.com.au/products/atomic-one-piece-inconel-super-alloy-and-stainless-steel-valves These guys should post internationally. They're super helpful via email.
  23. Mate, there's lots of people using them. The fact you don't hear too much about them either positive or negative probably means they're ok
