Spewing was hoping to avoid pulling it out. Is the fg 2 icc removed the same way as the fg 1?

A few days ago my fg mk2 turbo ute's icc stopped responding to touch inputs at all but the screen is still working. I have had the battery disconnected for a few hrs thinking that may reset it but nothing. Anyone had this happen before? Cheers

I'm usually an advocate for ignoring strange noises but mine sounds and feels like the ass end is going to fall out when I take off after a good 30 mins or so of driving but perfect when cold
