  1. By using the 2 resistor plugs it just fools the system I to thinking the seats has no airbags like it was from factory so the SRS sytem has reset itself and the light goes out. Im 99% sure by doing this the rwst of the SRS system is still active as it was from factory, just the seat airbags wont deploy in an accident. I was studying the wiring diagrams last night and disnt see any other modules attached to the system BUT having said that I need to search other diagrams for the crash sensors to see if any are optional other than the front rad support sensor.
  2. So the work around with the 2 x yellow clip resistors is the way to go and just deactivate the seat airbags, yeah?
  3. Hey guys, got the same problem in my BF2.5. Swapped the seats from cloth NON airbag type to leather WITH airbags. Ever since had code 23 flash up. Tonight I took the resistor plugs from my other BF2 and disconnected the seats from the loom and plugged in the dummy yellow resistor plugs and the light went out. However I'm sure this has now disabled the side seat airbags. What's the proper way to fix this so the seat airbags deploy in case of an accident? I do remember switching on th ignition foolishly before plugging in the connectors and wondered if just an SRS reset would fix the problem? Is there a way to reset the system in a BF without an SRS reset tool like the EF by shorting out say pin 4 in the diagnostic plug? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
