  1. Garage is a standard double car garage size, plus a little wider. Block is 15x25. Shed at the back is just. Workshop shed, probably 3.5x4 or 3.5x6. Not for cars but for storage and electronics projects so I can work on automotive lighting projects. Garage is bigger than our rental we had previously and that was fine, so I'm not stressed about this one 😊 We chose double shower over dual sinks in the master bedroom, that alone was a major design change that will cost extra. Again, wir is bigger than our first house and we were fine with that one, all in all we're happy with it 😊 Lots of things we plan on doing to add storage space and what not once the house is built. that's the only real downfall with this design we believe. But something that is relatively easy to solve I'll add a link to the pdf document that is more detailed for anyone curious 😊
  2. First design revision came through yesterday for the major structural work on the house, with cost estimations coming through in the next week or so As a first home, this ticks all the boxes! Rooms may be small, but for a family in the next 10 years they are plenty big enough! Best part is there is room in the back for the shed 😄 Document has some other 3D renders in it, but didn't take a snippet of them. This is probably the most interesting part of the doc
  3. The codes are trans signal related not battery or surge issues. They relate to the switches in your transmission gear stick. You will need to get an auto sparky to look at it, or change out the shifter assembly. You're getting a bunch of pretty hectic codes. What have you done to your car recently? Have you worked on it at all? Could be a grounding issue
  4. Wow mate what a fantastic result!!!! Looks the goods! Gotta be proud of that surely!
  5. Sounds pretty straightforward, what could possibly go wrong
  6. What are the dimensions of the slab, and what did it set you back?
  7. Yea I agree, I bought a V2 unit and didn't include all the addon stuff as I didn't need them. Premium sound activation for example. I had plans to put an audio system in with two amps - thus not requiring the activation. Now its like 1.5k for the whole thing which is real steep. Doesn't stop me from wanting to upgrade though 😂
  8. Price has gone up because everything has gone up. Inflation and what not. They are also on producing small batch runs which increases build costs, thus increasing sales cost. Its unfair but I can see why. I wish I had 4k to waste on one them things. I want one so bad
  9. May as well add in here what we're looking at building. Block is 375m2, 15x25. We will be building with Home Group WA. The design we liked the most is called "London", a 4x2 with a scullery, theatre and "activity" room which would likely end up being a sort of small office. The master is also at the back which is a big win. Its a double garage, and we can only extend it by about 300mm wider due to the block size. This design should give enough room to put a shed in the back though, that is 3.5x4m (as mentioned before). This one isn't on their website unfortunately so you'll have to live with this sh*tty pic of a print-out. Its about 220m2 in total and will fit just fine on our block. The other design that I really like is called "St Louis". Also a 4x2, scullery, theatre. No area that will work well as an office. But being young and having no kids (yet) we could sacrifice a room to make an office. The issue with this one is it is 270m2, and requires 15x30 block as its 28m long. We can make changed to the design though. Having a meeting either this Thursday or the 6th of June due to the long weekend here in WA to discuss building plans. We need to suss out the price of this one too, because it is the "luxury" range it is way more fancy. But we are hoping we can adjust it to reduce the cost. For example, this one has 2 wall mounted ovens. Bit over kill lol. I really like the idea of having the workshop in the garage and not a shed in the back, can also widen it a bit for extra room to put shelving in and not sacrifice car space. It will, like always, come down to the cost. You can check out their other builds too if you're interested at all, keen to hear what you all think Will this bring back @Mrs Jeturbo to the forums 👀👀
  10. Whats the average cost for getting a slab poured for a shed? The house design we are likely going for will give me room at the back for a workshop. Nothing big enough for a car, but plenty big enough for electronics stuff, hoping to finally have a place to work on car lighting. Looking at potentially a 3.5x4m shed. I don't want to contact any local places until our design has been finalised so I know what size shed I can order. Other option is to play around with the house design to extend the garage and have a workshop in the garage - all depends on which option is cheaper 😋
  11. I think you have listed the codes wrong? Nothing comes up for the ones you listed. These do though: P0826, P0828 In any case, both appear to be trans related. Might have an issue with some circuitry somewhere, a sensor or a switch maybe. Another forum post with these codes
  12. Yea I was gonna mention the venom system, bit on the expensive side though!
  13. Agree with @Tom Tucker Barra and limiter are not friends. Drifting and limiter are lovers, this is a problem You will need to make sure you build the thing to handle constant limter, so a rock solid oiling system and timing setup. Be prepared for regular maintenance in this area. Power wise the barra can do it no drama. Invest in cooling. Get as big a radiator as you can possibly fit plus high power fans.
  14. Yea its fantastic for sellers atm! Just imagine it the other way though lol We got out-offered on every single house we put an offer on, and our offers were alreafdy 30-50k higher than asking. Hence the decision to build. We get what we want for a fair price, no competitions, no fkn around
  15. Yes will definitely post up updates and what not there 😄
  16. Yea 15mm seems perfect! 20mm may work but it'd be mighty close to the guards depends on your camber setup
  17. Screw buying a house, what a sh*t market. We bought land instead that's CSYJB right? 375m2 block, not bad to build our first home
  18. On the topic of exhausts. I have the ultrex 4" turbo back. I would steer clear of it, its all round not great for a daily. It drones real bad, fits absolutely terribly. It is a huge pain in the arse to install. If I was to do it again, I'd go x-force because it sounds a bit better and drones less. If I had the budget, I'd go 4" dump and custom 3.5" the rest of the way. 4" all the way seems a tad unnecessary lol Example of dealing with ultrex sh*t fitment. It sits so damn low, you'll hit the v-band on everything.
  19. Installed the 15mm spacers, looks 👌 Kinda digging the OEM+ look. Left is before - 5mm slip on spacer Right is after - 15mm bolt on spacer
  20. @k31th You are right that no one sells a direct replacement. But there are subs available that can fit directly in place of the factory one. You are also right that a free-air sub is crap. But, better than no sub! 😋 Look for a sub that is slim, I can't remember the size of the factory one so you'll need to double check that yourself. I'm going to assume 10", because 12" seems too big. A sub such as this should fit. But again, you can verify by removing the factory sub and comparing dimensions against the aftermarket one. This can be done before you commit to the purchase too You've gotta remove the factory one seeing as its potentially broken anyway. https://www.pioneer.com.au/shop/car/ts-a2000ld2/
  21. Are you saying that there is more thread activity listed before you get to the bottom of the page? I.e. more replies, posts, etc. Morning all!
  22. Damn that looks delicious, might have to add that to the list of places to go in Melbs
