  1. Same same but different, I have the Turbosmart drop-in fpr. I was going to get the gfb one, from memory I think this one was on sale at the time or something. Super easy to install, though my base fuel pressure was off when I installed it, I let the tuna fix that 😋
  2. I have a 525, I'd recommend going a 460. That way you can save for a dedicated anti-surge system, and the 460 can act as a lift pump
  3. Waiting on an email from our builder. Every time I get an email notification I get excited. "This is it!" Alas, I open my emails, and its the forum. Stop being so fkn active 😂😂
  4. Its really unfortunate really. They are so hit and miss, clearly quality issue. But they are the only factory drop-in option unfortunately 😞 Aerpro have a fascia now but imo it looks ugly, and you loose the top hat that everyone loves to put gauges on. With kayhan, you roll the dice. If you get one that works, you'll love it and never regret buying one. They are so good when they work. If they break though its a massive headache to get a replacement or refund
  5. Kayhan units are unfortunately hit and miss. They have drastically improved in quiality since they were first released, but they do not come with a decent manual or an install guide. So most issues people have with these can very often be due to poor/incorrect installs. My recommendation, if you want a kayhan unit, go to someone who has experience installing them. That way if something does go wrong with it, you are covered
  6. Bloody hell I've been a quiet on the forums lately. I'm sure my presence has been missed 🥰 Been a hell of a week just past, being caught up in a bushfire zone was quite the eye opening experience! Closest it got to our place was just a hair over 1km away. We were very lucky, sadly not everyone was though 😞 https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-11-24/perth-bushfire-updates-live-wanneroo-fires-emergency/103147486
  7. that's my favourite ice cream flavour! 🤤
  8. Finally got the car up for sale this weekend. Went to take photos on Saturday but I hate them. Sucked it up and used them anyway cause at this point I think I'm just stalling 🤣 So far I've had 3 swaps requests, and two offers of 25k 👌
  9. No idea, but I found some other links on google. Looks like you need an account to access this one, but its 30 days free: https://www.scribd.com/document/449531352/BA-Falcon-Workshop-Manual-pdf Ford Forums has the BA falcon, and the BA fairlane. Haven't opened them to verify but the links are there: https://www.fordforums.com.au/vbportal/viewcategory.php?moduleid=82&order=desc
  10. Polisher finally arrived! This combo is wild, was planning to do a 2 stage correction on the car but with this one setup I'm getting such good results I'm not even going to bother lol. Still leaves behind the deeper scratches, but fk it I'm selling the car so I'm going to put any more effort in than I have to 😋
  11. I can't wait to be in a house where I have the space for all that kinda stuff 🤣
  12. Bought a polisher from The Detail Store last monday, paid for star track express because I needed it for the weekend, should have taken max 3 days. This is some BS
  13. Preach it! Don't think I've had a single order go smoothly through them. Pity because their pricing is usually very competitive
  14. He's not on the forums sadly, but that rig is insane. Done a mint job with it so far!
  15. I saw the 12.1 run, was awesome! 😄 Love it mate! Such a mint setup you've got, very impressive 😊
  16. No way that's awesome! You clearly have more drag experience than me cause your launches were mint hahah! You also around 400kw? My guess is 430-440?? Also love that you don't have a screamer, full sleeper spec 😎😎
  17. 100% agree! 😂 You drive the burnt orange looking 50th ann??
  18. Looks mint mate! One question, how come you didn't get any AN fittings welded to it prior? Usually a common thing to do is all. Colour is mint!
  19. Yup BP98 Took the car to the Wednesday night drags as a last hurrah! Ford V Expensive Daewoo night meant racing was half price, $40 for the night, can't complain! Last minute decision with my brother to go, so no real prep for it lol. Let a bit of air out the rears and set the rear shocks a couple clicks tighter than its the softest setting. That was it haha. Cheap chinese tyres hated life. But I went for the sheer fun of it, I wasn't interested in PB's or chasing the best possible numbers. If I was I'd have borrowed a set of semi slicks. Anyway, did two runs. 12.6 and then 12.3. I really struggled on the launch, mainly because I was being very gentle on the launch. I didn't want to put too much stress on the car seeing as I'm selling it lol. That and the fact I had sh*t tyres meant there wasn't really any point. What a fun night! So gad I went. Kind of marks the end of the chapter for me with the car. I'm happy I took it down the strip after all this time, money and effort I'd put into the car. Dropped a potato cam quality vid below of the 12.3 pass (downloaded from FB)
  20. New false floor carpeted and in! Also, battery relocated the boot and looking real nice! So happy with the job, spent a lot of time doing it right! I know its common practice, but I never liked the idea of running the cable through the frame rail. imo cables should be inside the car not outside 😋 Put one of these bad boys in, located on the passenger side pretty much right where the floor starts forming into the trans tunnel. Ends up being pretty damn close to the starter motor. 0awg (0 B&S) run from the starter to the stud, then from the stud down the left side of the car, and followed the wiring loom that goes up towards the parcel shelf and into the boot. No cutting or anything required. Very simple job. Conduit was put around the wire where it goes through the sheet metal cut outs to prevent rubbing too. Maybe I'll post a guide or something showing how I did this, who knows lol. I followed this video mainly, awesome video to follow to get an idea of stud locations and what not. Just wish it was a tiny bit more detailed! Anyway, results in the boot: Really want to get another sub box that's way smaller. Like a single beefy 10. That's what I had planned, custom box designed and all. Just won't get round to it unfortunately! That sub box is extremely heavy!
  21. 16psi most of the time, touches 18 towards the top of 4th 400kw was achieved at 18psi in 4th gear.
  22. Update on my carpet. 2 new rolls arrive today courtesy of car builders (legends!). Direct Freight have now closed all investigations into the parcel because they do not cover "lost or stolen goods". But they refuse to answer my questions about reimbursing me for the parcel that was incorrectly delivered. I told them the package has likely been stolen as a consequence of the incorrect delivery, but they are saying it doesn't matter, because it was stolen. Sounds like an ACCC problem but that's so petty lol. At least I'm still getting my carpet I guess haha
  23. I'm not interested in going to the US for a holiday at all. Except this, this is literally all I'd go for, to go to the SpaceX facility. Say what you want about ol' mate Elon, but you can't deny he created the coolest rocket development company ever! 🤣
