So the steering definitely feels better now! And doesn't have an annoying PS pump whine. Car went in for an alignment too, turns out it was wayyyyy out, and the front tyres were at 28psi..... Probably didn't help the crappy steering feel. Hasn't had an alignment for a long time so it was probably due for one 🤣 Still, not as nice as my brothers FG, so could maybe be the rack that is going bad? I'll maybe get round to seeing if that's bad one day, but I'm happy with it for now. Tune is gonna happen another time, he'd run out of time before I needed to get it (can't pick it up tomorrow unfortunately). The important sh*t is done so that's all that matters really, I'll organise a day to get it in for a multi tune setup eventually, will give him a ring tomorrow and see

Good question, not a lot/nothing probably You can earn reward points but you don't need the app for that. Those points can be converted to qantas points too. Or you gather them and eventually pay for fuel with them too.

Might sound like a gimmick, but filling up at a BP using the app is so handy. Go to servo, open app, choose the pump number, fill up, leave. Amazing. When it works 🤣

If the shockworks are like the BCs I have, then you have 30 clicks of adjustment. You're nearly as soft as the set can be. So its probably been setup (by their recommendation) to ride as factory. I highly recommend fiddling with them when you have the time! You can really fine-tune how you want it to feel! Unless you like it how it is, then leave it 😋 PS. I have absolutely no data to back anything I've said. Purely just me faffing around with the dials and spring preload to see how it feels 🤣

I dare say then, that you have either not set them up for a more comfortable ride, or you've driven with XYZs 🤣 I'd have to strongly disagree with your statement. I have BCs, when I used the big rig as a daily I'd have them set 3 clicks from their softest settings. Was it a more firm ride than factory? Yes. Noticeably? No. My partner couldn't tell the difference. In fact, it was a test. I put them in when she was at work, took her for a drive and asked if anything felt different. She couldn't tell any different. Even on an old, bumpy road. I have since tightened the front spring preload a touch, and drive often with it a lot firmer than I used to. I can confidently say this is noticeable, its a very firm ride. Even still, I can just soften the damping and get a more comfortable ride if I need to. Suspension is not a plug and play solution. Hence why people complain about them being too stiff. Not the coilovers fault, its the user who hasn't properly set them up for their needs

I think cruises in general are going down the sh*tter. Its hard nowadays to find a decent group of people that aren't just immature people showing off their rig. There will always be the people who are out to cause mischief, which is fine! The main issue is doing irresponsible things at the meet. Go somewhere else and do it lol. It attracts the wrong crowds the static parts of meets which looks bad, and gets unwanted attention. I am part of a "group" called west horizons falcons. So far been a bunch of genuinely nice people. Been to 2 meets and met some really cool people. The group is public, but in the social chats there is probably less than 20 active people, all of which are really nice. Another good group, WA FPV Collective. It is a very tight-knit group, paid members, that do not do anything publicly. 90% of them are well over 30's (nothing wrong with that btw). They run events only for the members. A very well respected group. They held a dyno day at Monsta Torque last year, it was awesome. Was part of Midnight Society for about a year, actually part of the "penthouse members". Basically the founders. Looooong story short the owner shut it all down and we left, they are back now, called Midnight Empire I believe. I actually went to High School with the guy who started the whole thing. He had his reasons for canning it for a while, don't agree with them, but its been and gone, and I happily converse with him when I see him out at meets here and there. Also a very nice guy, that club also holds pretty high standards for their members. Another one I'm particularly excited about is Blackplatnumz Automotive. They kinda came outta nowhere. They are big on organising cart related events (incl cruises) that also help local businesses. They have great socials, great videographers, photographers, they even have prizes, games, activities, at their events. These kinda org's are getting hard to come by, so its refreshing to see a club do it the right way. Wow what a story, enjoy 🤣🤣

+1 pics, and where you got it from! Used to have one, came with the car, but it literally disintegrated. I really liked having one tbh 😅
