  1. So an update, we pulled the turbo off, replaced the studs and nuts on the rear housing coz they were stuffed. Loosley bolted the turbo to the manifold and tried to loosley put the dump back on and just cannot get it to line up.

  3. Hi All, New to this forum and new to B series. Ive purchased an unlicensed ba xr6t and spent a fair amount of money getting it pit ready, except we are stuck on this if anyone can suggest anything? Put a new GT3582R turbo onto the standard manifold as my original turbo needs a rebuild. This was all taken out of the car by my mechanic friend but hes been unable to come back to put it back on. My partner has put the manifold studs in the head, put the manifold connected to the turbo in the car, done the bottom row of manifold studs to the head up and the dump pipe has a bit of a gap when done up fully and the exhaust has a good 2 inches gap near the cat and cant be done up. What have we done wrong? I should add the new turbo is same size as the one removed
