Hey guys, resurrecting an OLD thread here. I just drained an FG I recently acquired. It had a metal pan on it, but no known service records for the trans. I undid what I understand is the refilling plug, where fluid should sit at the level of the hole... I opened it first to be sure I could refill it and a good couple of litres of fluid came out. Is that normal because it's been sitting, and dead cold?

Get stuffed mate. I've done a hell of a lot more complex work on my vehicles than this. It was a simple question, and you think you're so awesome as to speak down to me about it. Little man.

Thanks guys - just didn't want to destroy it or the sheet metal of the floor, and it has a little arrow on it, so wondered if it unscrewed or something.

Could anyone help me with some more detail on removing that round plastic cover under the seat, please?
