  1. How hot is too hot for the oil in the barra? First track day in a while (curcit racing) and it's a warm day. No oil cooler and seeing temps of 120-130 degrees Celsius. Trying to give as much mechanical sympathy as possible. What temperature should I begging to really worry at if I see it?.
  2. What would cause an aftermarket fuel pressure reg to start ticking under acceleration?
  3. What options do I have when it comes to diff and tailshaft upgrades and what would be the best to use for an auto street car that goes to the strip every now and then on semi slick tyres.

  6. Sorry guys that was a pretty vauge question. I've been told that for a modified fg you wouldn't want to make much more than 400rwkw on 98 otherwise you can start causing damage to the engine. I'm wondering if this is true and in what way e85 would be better and if it's not true what kind of power and reliability are people seeing from a 98 fed car

  8. The new exhaust is a 4 inch dump to a 3.5 inch exhaust where as the one I have now which is what it was tuned on is a stock exhaust with a highflow cat bolted to the stock dump pipe
  9. Hi guys I have an fg xr6 turbo making 430hp at the wheels I have a new turbo back exhaust for the car and I'm wondering if the car will need a new tune even though its been tuned before.

Hi guys I'm looking at doing a bit more work to my fg xr6 turbo It is currently making 310 take with a few upgrades They include; 1000cc injectors, walbro 460 fuel pump, turbo side intake, venom high flow cat, intune motorsport stage 2 intercooler kit and a tune from Jake's performance. I'm currently ready and looking to buy the following; turbo back exhaust (xforce) 4" dump to twin 2.5", billet oil pump gears, crow cams valve springs, GTX3582R turbo charger (with the falcon rear housing), 14psi actuator, and a pwr trans cooler. I'm looking at making high 300rwkw reliable and pulling back a bit to save my zf6 auto until I improve it. What else do I need to reach these numbers and any little things I should look at such as gaskets Thanks.
