  1. Happy Birthday Dans XR6 Turbo!

  2. With the stockers there is a series 1 and series 2. Series 1 should be replaced with series 2. Series 2 so far fault free.
  3. That noise your hearing is definitely the actuator. Get on ebay, guy down in vic selling recoed actuators for 75 delivered to your door with a 2 year warranty. He sends the recoed actuator and a prepaid post pack so you can send the rooted actuator to him for the 2 year warranty, he obviously just repairs your stuffed one and resells it. Considering fraud wanted 180 I thought it was a good deal. Been in there for over a month now and no issues. The doors opening on their own is a prickly one. Whats the BEM? The problem I have now is my door ajar light stays on permanently, looked at door switches but they are weird in themselves. Bloody electricals, give me mechanical anyday, least you can work out what it is and fix it relatively easy. Give Thompson Fraud a call at parramatta and ask to speak to one of the techs. Out of 4 fraud dealers I have dealt with over the years these guys are the only ones that dont have their heads up their arses.
  4. You can as I have it on mine. Trick is though you need to get another key, cut off the bit that goes into the ignition. You just want the sensor part of the key because you need that sensor to be right next to the ignition barrel for remoter start to work with the smart lock. I find it more of a novelty which is the reason I don't have a cut key sitting beside the barrel. But after playing with the idea this is what was needed to do it.
  5. those shots did come out good john, what type of camera/flash were you using. I only got my new toy a couple of weeks ago, bloody thing has so many settings Im still paying with it to work it all out. Got shots in the daytime down to perfect, need some more night runs so I can get more practice Hows the beast Andrew, doubt you would have caused any issues limping home on 2k. Only problem with these dream machines, can't get under the buggers out nowhere to do a 10 minute job and fix it I was umming and arring about waiting for you to get back from the pass but the boys I had with me were getting toey. We were back in blacktown 1220. Just over an hour from robertson should have seen the look on the faces of the 2 in the back when they realised I couldn't see 300m in front of me.
  6. Like rapids V3 kit. My pod sits behind drivers side spotty connected to cai under battery tray, awesome!!!!!!!!
  7. Was great seeing everyone again. Well here we go fellas. Sorry it took a bit, had to shoot up to Wisemans to get the some of the kids from grandma's then I had to go and take all the plates out of the pics, forgot how long that takes. See you all on the next one. Dan
  8. go away rain, hopefully the wind we copped today has blown it away, it's not looking to bad. Hopefully it stays off the coast where it currently is, everywhere else of concern is looking clear on the radar. Report on tv just said it is off the coast and should stay there, if not be blown away
  9. stickypod + bullet camera positioned on my front guard, near spotty hole, which now has no spotty, to get the sound of the CAI and the closeness of the road, reckon that would look and sound awesome....good things come to those who wait (cause they cant afford anymore toys for a while)
  10. dont see the point in stickpods, not cheap plus I'll be stuffed if my vid camera is going to be exposed to the elements. These are mainly for track work where there's not much chance of something being flung up and hitting the camera. I have the stonechips to prove what the cars cop alone yet anything else attached to the outer shell will post up some pics of mount tomorrow, best alternative to getting all round car action is to have someone with a steady hand in the back seat wish you all the best with the stickypod, hope you have some sort of protective casing for the camera otherwise you could and more than likely will suffer expensive damage to it. Better of with bullet camera for external mounting shots, less chance of damage due to design. Dan
