No previous owner spliced into the crank angle sensor wiring and had the wires back to front and also some of the injectors had no o-rings on them also fuel lines were wrong way around🤦🤣

Hi Guys after some help please I have a bf xr6 turbo I've just installed atomic chains and guides started it up at first there was no lights up on the dash but suddenly oil light come on and when I try to start it after turning it off it stalls unless I give it a rev to keep it running has anyone come across this?I checked the oil level and it is low it is on the add point on the dip stick,Im going to check if oil is flowing through the oil feed line and hope it's not something bad cheers

Hi guys just after some help I've purchased a bf na skid car off a mate which caught fire and burnt the engine loom he has replaced the loom with a BA one and car won't start just seeing if BA and bf engine loom is the same or different as I have a no vatts ECU in it but it's won't start the car is a bf falcon with a btr 4 speed cheers

Hi y'all Happy New Year's sorry it's not xr6 related but I've got a BA xr8 and my drive belt has snapped I've been trying to find pics or diagrams and info on correct way to re install it if anyone has any pics or can help out it would be much appreciated🙏 Ps I do have a Bseries xr6 turbo my xr8 is my daily hence why I need it fixed cheers

Hi y'all hope everyone had a mint Christmas ✌️ Just after some help or pics of timing chain installation on a BA XR6 turbo please I have a BA XR6 turbo and guides have let go and I have purchased atomic heavy duty timing chain and guides to replace it,just needing help to line up the chain so I don't have to do it again as I've never did this before if anyone has done it before and have pics could you post em up or even send them to me please would be much appreciated 🙏 And also is it normal when guides and chain fail for car to sound as if it's cammed on idle?it goes away if you hold revs up a little or when driving/cruising as we noticed it driving home after we noticed it broke still has power just chain rattle and idleing as if it's cammed Cheers

@k31th Cheers bro I'll have a sus when it stops raining going to pull the tailshaft out of my xr6 turbo hopefully it is the same can't find any tailshafts for a xr8 here in brisbane

@Tom Tucker cheers man he is going to fix it he reckons hopefully all goes well I have installed a 12psi spring so see how we go when he puts it back on the dyno✌️

@Tom Tucker cheers man there wasn't any issues as he explained everything was fine,he pretty much said he tuned it to where he felt it was safe,but I still have the drama where it is driving like sh*t,you'd have to drive it to understand,plus it has a 9psi spring if he has explained it has been tuned to 12psi,just want to kno why on the dyno sheet the gate opens at 9psi,my car was previously tuned with a road tune and it made 450hp on 15psi idk why this made less on a actual dyno tune

Hi y'all just asking for help I have a ba xr6 turbo its auto btr I have the following mods ✓1000cc injectors ✓460 walbro ✓valve springs ✓pump gears ✓4inch dump ✓4inch exhaust ✓3inch cooler pipeing ✓big cooler ✓45mm hypergate ✓9psi spring It's not a na+t my issue is I got it tuned last week and the tuner tuned it too 12psi but on the dyno sheet shows the gate is opening at 9psi?is that right? Also he only got 340hp with 720torque but heaps of my mates are making more with their na+t I don't understand how that is and I've got more supporting mods then they have. After I got it tuned on the drive home it feels as if when I'm sitting on the limit,it feels like it has launch control like it's starting too stall up has anyone experienced this and if anyone thinks this is a sh*t tune is it bad for me to ask for a refund as he said he wanted to come to my house to fix it but ive asked to get re-dynoed. Also he said that I needed a 12psi spring to put in as that what it is tuned too,will I need a retune for that?any help will be greatly appreciated located brisbane

Hey guys just after some help as I can't find anything in regards to the sh*tty fg xr6 5 speed auto on line🤦 I have a 2009 fg xr6 na+t and it has the 5 speed auto behind it I bought it off a guy who said it only had 1st gear,after topping up the fluid it took 4 litres of oil,I took it for a drive it selected reverse which it didn't for him and drive was a a little delayed but if I go through the gears in trip tronic it selects all the gears just sometimes from 2nd to 3rd and to 4th gear it sort of delays but selects there gears. Previous owner said it was the band's but if that was the case I shouldn't be able to get any gears is that right? I then change solenoids and it sort of fixed the delays in the shifts but still won't take off in drive or reverse sometimes. If I change the valve body/solenoid block could that possibly fix the issue as I don't think the bands are stuffed as under acceleration when in each gear there's no slip it's more only when it goes from one gear to the other it feels like there maybe a leak loss of pressure,could it be the o rings on the solenoids causing this issues any help would be great full as I feel this could be fixed cheaper then buying another box and not only that there is no info in regards to these 5 speeds online hence why I'm asking if anyone on here has had same issues cheers guys 🙏✊

Cheers puff so I'm overboosting?and if I run a smaller spring it should be ok?it's only sometimes when I get upit,it goes into limp and other times it gets up and goes but doesnt seem to get on gate?it has a pcm tech tune on it for 15psi just shy off 500hp

Hi guys hope everyone had a mint and safe Christmas 💯 Just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced this with their car,I have a ba xr6 turbo has valve springs pump gears head studs 1000cc injectors 460 walbro Throttle body relocation 3inch pipeing Big cooler 4inch dump High flow cat 4inch exhaust 45mm turbosmart hypergate Car was originally tuned to 15psi before going external it had a 7psi spring in the waste gate when first fitted and it never boost spiked or went to limp mode. After fitting 14psi spring it comes on boost hard but doesn't hit gate as it goes into limp and after a little bit it comes good again just want to kno if anyone has experienced this at all any help will be much appreciated cheers guys

Hi Guys just needing some help I currently have a 3582 Garrett on my ba xr6 turbo but I'm wanting to swap it over with a Precision 6235,on my current 3582 rear housing I have an external gate fitted,am I able to keep my that housing and use the precision front housing and core? And also the precision turbo doesn't have water feed line will that affect my car as it's running the factory water lines,will I have to remove all the water lines or just block it off? any help will be much appreciated as looking to do swap over tomorrow cheers guys

HI everyone just after some info regarding the location of the yaw rate sensor In a ba-bf falcon please if anyone has info on where I can find it there's no info anywhere online tried calling ford their customer service is sh*t please if anyone knows where I can find it as my abs/traction control keeps playing up cheers

Soz for late reply it was the abs fuse was blown,changed it and it fixed the issue.I thought it was due to turning the pressure up for harder shifts as I sent it one too many turns 🤣

Cheers guys for your input I just got a reply from oldmate whome I bought the box off and he said he fully drained the box and converter so there is only 4 litres of oil in there atm maybe a possibility that could be the issue?🤦 but would that cause the gears to flash and the Speedo to not work?

Hi guys sorry just after some info on my daily na ba xr6 I've just chucked a second hand btr in and for some reason park and drive keep flashing on dash and Speedo not working,could low fluid cause this issue as I'm getting no fault codes,I've message oldmate I bought it off as I'm not too sure how much fluid was in it before I filled it with 4 litres. When running through the gears on stands the wheels spin forwards and backwards but on the ground doesn't move at all but yeah it still flashes on the dash and the Speedo issue any help would be appreciated as I don't want to drive my turbo to work cheers
