What engine oil temps is everyone getting with just normal daily driving and enthusiastic driving. Mine sits around the 75c mark when warmed up , if I let it sit there and idle for a while it will get up to 85c ish. The car has a 71c thermostat in it, don't ask me why, that's what was in it when I bought it. I know it's too cold. Temps drop pretty fast when driving on highway or anything above 60km/h. Curious to know what others are getting. I don't have a sandwich plate where the oil filter sits, I made a brass T piece that runs of the same location as the oil pressure sensorNot sure if that would make much difference compared to a sandwich plate or a temp sensor in the sump, I know other two options would be more precise.
