I used to use united 98 (csr 10% etha). But since moving house, there isn't a united servo for miles, so now I use BP ultimate. Have noticed a increase in power, a little more response, and about 60 to 80 kms more out of a tank of fuel. So the savings I thought I was making on the united fuel compared with the BP, was really eaten up in the economy.

If it wasn't the diff bush. What twas the clunk noise from?

Was wondering at what temp does the thermo fan kick in? Is that the temp switch in the blue box?

The other week I was going into town, going through a round about and a bloody bombadore driver didn't stop and hit the left hand front corner. this pushed the nose across 2inches. At the panel shop they have had to pull the motor and box out to straighten the chassis rails which are bent near the firewall. The panel shop say it is classed as a major repair, but is fixable. I'm just unsure as to whether it will be the same after the repair? Is it more like to get rattles and squeaks now? Are the ever racked back to square properly? Info from guys that have been this position before would be great. Do you keep the car or not??

Or a more likely option is they have a HO that's not repairable (rust, to damaged). Take their id plates and eng and chassis number fit to new car and bingo bango, they have a new restored GT HO.
