I had a hurricane exhaust from liverpool exhaust on my old xr6t sedan fg and it sounded great I got a lot of complements about it

I have a fg xr6t lowerd on 20s and I dont get any axle tramp with mine I have king springs when they fitted the springs they have cut the bump stops a bit so under hard throtle the back end had room to move not bounce on the diff mayb that helps .

When I had my tune done the launch control was still at 3000 id take it back to who tuned it and to get them to fix that, good luck trying to launch at 4000 its hard enofe at 3000 and getting traction

have had mine for 6 months now and has been fantastic the car has 13,000klms and gets around 13l around town and gets driven everyday and the only thing that has had to get fixed was the diff bush. futre mods include injectors , intercooler , clutch, and a g6et spoiler

So far just a tune and full exhaust and xr8 cai and k&n filter . next on the list are some injectors , fuel pump, and intercooler and retune :]

just wondering what size speakers does the fg run in the front and rear ?

does the car still have the stock clutch in it ?

I run 20s on my fg with 245/35/20 all round and have no trouble at all and the car is lowerd and dosent scrub at all but if you are going to run 275 in the rear I would get the gards rolled just to play it safe .

I have taken my car back to the dealer to get this problem fixed , they have pulled the box out and had a look around and were going to relpace the clutch but when the spoke to ford about it, ford said not to bother cause the problem would still be there a few other dealerships have tryed this and had no luck with getting rid of the noise . My dealer told me ford have made a note of the problem and apparently are working on a proper fix to the problem .

Benny- well that's what autobarn told me that the fg k&n should be available in a week or so but I wouldnt take it as gospel FG-XR6T -I havent got any pics but I will try and get some over the weekend and post them up I should have taken some before I installed it but was to excited

I have just fitted a xr8/f6 cai to t and it does sound a lil better just waiting to get my hands on a kn filter , I went into autobarn and they said they should be availble next week some time .

Pats right its about the $2000 mark for the leather trim but its worth it .

Yeh you can do that just make sure that the amp is capable of be bridged -
Well I have picked up my car from the trimmers and all I can say is wow it has turned out better than I was hoping and the smell/quality of the leather is fantastic now tme for the 20s and to get it lowered

I picked mine up last night and it now has 300 klms and is at 15.5 and it has been mainly stop start drivn
