I am looking at a new cat and it has come down to either a venom cat or sureflows ballistic cat just wondering if one is better then the other for performance and quality and what experience you have had with either brand ,
I can get a set of d1r project d from a mate the rear are 20 x 10 +42 offset with 265/30/20 tyres will these fit on my ba xr with ssl springs in the back with out any guard work or scrubbing ?
The boss motors are not a bad thing when I had my ba xr8 with full bolt ons and tune and my mate had a vy ss with bolt ons and tune 8 out 10 times I would get him in a race and they sound great with a good exhaust on them .
yeh I might have to take a 335 for another drive as I have not driven one since the Miami was released. bonjaz- the ba is a 5 speed but I wanted the blood orange so couldn't get the 6 speed its making 490rwhp atm but its a nice very safe set up at the moment .If I end up keeping it ill push it some more to around 550 I will be happy
Well I am in two minds at the moment weather I should sell my current toys and get into a new 335 gt or keep what I have . my current toys are a 2012 fg xr6 turbo with full options and a ba gt with full options and a yella terra super charger with only 37 thou on the clock . Just after some info from people who own the new gt weather they have been as good as they were thinking or do they regret it and should have kept what they had before ? Would it be worth selling my two cars for one ? cheers
well today I took the ring out of mine [euro 4] the car has a cai , aftermarket cat back system and now no ring so far so good took it for a drive today no lights came up and the car feel like it goes better well my traction light was coming on a lot more then normal :]
I am on my 3rd fg the first one I had custom aftermarket leather trim the 2nd one was cloth and the 3rd one is the ford leather . If I had my time again I would go the custom leather again the quality over the ford leather is a big differance.
I have a fg xr6 turbo ute and looking at doing a mufler delete just wondering out of the rear muffler or the centre muffler which one would be more restrictive ?
Does any one know if the problem with the fg utes when lowered is still comon or has ford fixed the tail sharfts ? was it due to lowering the ute to low or the brand of spring or was it when the springs were reset ?
is it ok to run a 3.5 cat back exhaust + a turbo side cai on a stock tune fg xr6t ? as I dont want to tune the car for a while but would like to upgrade the cai to get more sound from the car .
Hi guys im thinking about doing some small mods to my ute im thinking of putting a plazaman cai , f6 intercooler , and eather a 3.5" or 4" cat back exhaust would there be much of a gain over standard ?
