  1. Im yet to have any problems with my FG Tarp retro fit onto my BF, looks great and have not had any problems with the rails cracking or coming off.
  2. its ok, the tops that the tarp clips down to are poweder coated black aluminium extrusion
  3. Im trying to follow the rules and not post this in the market section (hope this is ok) Have some stuff on ebay you may be keen on that is all no reserve as I just need the room and want rid of it. FG XR6 ute tub $1 BF XR6 Turbo Tailgate (small dent) $1 BF XR6 Turbo ute liner $1 BF XR6 Turbo Tonneau and supports $1 and some other non falcon stuff http://shop.ebay.com.au/merchant/rxb05s_W0...QQ_fromZQQ_mdoZ thanks guys & gals
  4. I personally havnt has a problem yet, quickest I have gone though is 120 and it stayed on fine.... much happier with it than the old tarp as the old one used to get the rain puddles on it where as this one it runs off right away as its a bit tighter. but yeah...ive noticed that you have to go around it and make sure its all on properly. cheers
  5. I work in the vehicle building industry. We are still having to tell customers its a 3 month wait until we can start building their body....so we havnt felt it yet. I have noticed that the dealership salesmen have been delivering the vehicles to our workshop though which is a sign of the times I guess.....when are you coming to visit Pat? I know of 3 rangers that have to come over for railcorp next week..... A majority of our work is for the government though which will continue to spend to stimulate the market as all the major utility company's ive spoken to have not had their budgets reduced for the next period.
  6. Well its all fitted Quite a big job but I am happy with the result and fit. Involved welding in plates and putting captive nuts in so I wouldnt try it at home here is a pic of the finished product.
  7. Thanks for the offer but I already have all the parts including the FG tub liner the chassis is the same and the inner skin of the ute tub looks the same too so should be no probs to fit it all up.
  8. ahh bugger, should have planned it better. im getting the tailgate repainted tomorrow on mine and could have got them done at the same time I thought they come colour coded. any chance of getting some today? (unlikely I know)
  9. im going to do a retro fit of the new tarp on my BF next week as I much rather the look of the new style. will post some pics and info for anyone interested if it all works out ok. Pat, can I still get the little plugs to cover the holes from the lugs already colour coded from parts?
  10. I think they may have modded the box when I got the tune done to correct this? unsure......
  11. Did a 12.9 @ 110mph on wednesday night. Bf Ute, auto, PW stg 1 cooler, ubp, flasher and tune at CV. Just couldnt get it off the line, the auto was lazy (2.1 60ft) any tips?
  12. the ol boat ran 12.9 @ 110, quite happy with that.
  13. im going to head out and see what the ute can do.
  14. im making 196.7 rwkw with stock car besides stage 1 PW cooler and UBP. so it would seem one of them made a decent difference.
