Mines throwing the codes boost sensor 'A' and a map sensor sensor code , the throttle is laggy and accelerates on its own at short bursts without me touching it , it surges in speed on the freeway when just cruising... I've cleaned the sensors and the wastegate actuator solonoid but in yet to test it out , its ovetboosting under hard acceleration and is only meant to make 15 but peaks to 25 psi ... I'm thinking maybe the actual wastegate actuator is stuffed so I'll probably replace that and the sensors and if that doesn't work then I'm clueless @Frang

What are the exact symptoms of your problem? @Frang

Cheers for the reply, yeah the tmap one should be the one on the inside of the plenum like engine side if that makes sense just below the throttle body and as for the boost sensor I don't believe there is any sensors between the turbo outlet and the intercooler , its a fg also im pretty sure the ba bf do have a sensor inbetween turbo and cooler but not fg @k31th

Do you know where the boost sensor is exactly on a fg turbo motor ? @Puffwagon

What was the code that was coming up when it was scanned for the check engine light ?

No it's not tuned but do have a fair amount already done but has been fine for the past 6 months , only lately has it been playing up , will be getting tuned once this problem is sorted with the 1000cc injectors and walbro 460intank fuel pump ( not fitted yet ) , the codes it is bringing up is , map sensor performance and boost pressure sensor , do you know where these two are located

Any of you guys know where the bps is located on a fg turbo ?

Hi all , alright now for the past week ive been having some issues with my fg xr6t .. It's surging when driving on the freeway, accelerating even with my foot off the accelerator, throwing engine light and the code is saying boost pressure sensor 'A' ... has anyone experienced this, it's got a new throttle body on it as I thought that was the issue , vacuum gauge seems a little off than usual but other than that it's idling fine ect ect
