Manual Only Ba-Fg, Xr6 Turbo ¼ Mile Times
INFLYT replied to YLD-11Z's topic in Drag and Circuit Racing
How many manual T's have gone out on Slick's & Front Runner's, Billet Axle's, big Clutches, all lightened up ready to race? Once you see that, you should see a 10. -
Good luck man. I'll be finding myself floating up the same creek in a few month's time.

I actually thought of that one when I seen it, so I had a quick sticky beak inside, but this one was manual. Could be getting the auto soon I guess.

Spotted a Citric Acid Turbo sedan at the workshop today with the plate's CYC04T or something. Anyone from here?
-
I'm often there myself, so I'll keep an eye out for it. BTW, aren't you supposed to be in France or something LOL?

Chasing price's usually wont get you to where you want to go... I've personally gone with CV first and foremost because of their excellent reputation and vast experience (25+ year's, beat that!), and they just so happened to be the closest tuner to me, which as our06t mentioned come's in handy if you need to use them a few time's. Price was a non consideration, because if I wanted to not spend money, I would've bought a Daihatsu Mira.

Has anyone got one of these in their car? If so, does it glow blue like all the other guage's in the Cobalt range? Igor.

Good to see you back on the Forum here Wal. As for disclosing the mod's on TO00GO, when you're # 1 in your game, you want to keep a few card's close to your chest...

I posted it up on here somewhere, as it was on carsales about 6 month's ago.

I could be wrong, but I think Con & Vic's old Blood Orange XR6 Turbo might have worn one of these when it was running 10's back in the day's. It had an A.P.S Phase III kit on board then, and this might have been on board also.

Manual Only Ba-Fg, Xr6 Turbo ¼ Mile Times

Just to throw a spanner in the work's, if that car from W.A with the Hollinger in it was to reset the "record", would most of us here consider it the quickest manual? I know the guy's were actually chasing the overall BA/BF Turbo record in that car, having already run a 10.55 with an Auto a couple of year's back. -

It will happen, no doubt about it, but not as quickly as some were saying... I mentioned somewhere on here 2 year's ago that we wouldn't see a 10 second manual for another couple of year's, and was subsequently shut down and I didn't know what I was talking about... Well here we are, who would have thought it wasn't that easy... Having been in the VL Turbo scene from it's inception, I predicted that the evolution of these car's would travel along a similar path at the Drag Strip, and I know back then there were quite a few VL's that were set up power wise to run into the 10 second zone in a manual, but the driveline's would never stop breaking. A few guy's were going through an MX7 (VL Turbo 5 speed box) every meet! Bottom line, expect a few "I thought we already strengthened that" day's LOL. -
You'd be suprised at how quickly the bill's add up at the pointy end! Without BLUUOA even mentioning it, I could tell it was a car that owed over $100k. My car has cleared that mark overall, yet look's alot less modified than this particular car, but it's only when you point thing's out to a person in the flesh that you get an "Oh yeah, I didn't notice that".

I remember that RX3 from back in the day's at the "run's". Those were the day's... Judging by his name, I guess he's pedalling an F6 nowaday's.

Manual Only Ba-Fg, Xr6 Turbo ¼ Mile Times

There are no "record's" or "guideline's" set for any category with these car's, we just make our own, as it give's everyone a realistic goal to adhere to, giving the "little guy" a shot at a title. In my eye's, the quickest manual BA/BF Turbo is just that, however they choose to go about it. We all have access to exactly the same know how and modification's, some guy's like to take it all the way, and so should be rightfully recognised and rewarded accordingly. -
Actually 1007 (!) rear wheel horsepower for the R.D.P Ute, which make's it the highest power figure recorded with any Plenum for these car's. It would've been good to see some Dyno sheet's on this thing, but from what I understand the business has since changed hand's, so I'm not sure where that Ute is at the moment.

That's an unbelievable car man. Well done. I remember shooting off to the Newsagent to grab the magazine it was featured in about 6 month's ago or so, and I look forward to seeing it do some nice skid's on the T.V.

I watch this here and there... What f*cking sh*t's me about some of those stupid bitches is when they say "I'm 1000% sure he's the Daddy, Maury!" If he's the first and only guy you've ever slept with, then you can be "1000%" sure, otherwise, shut the f*ck up!

For those that can't wait for this, Tunehouse do a high quality proven 4 inch exhaust don't they? I'm pretty sure Brian (bcl) and John (JP300) are running that exhaust on their Turbo's.
