Hi can someone help as starting this week I cant turn on my cruise control and then I noticed that I had no brake light's. has anybody else had this problem and what did you do to fix it. its du for a service in another 1000ks so ill wait till then if I can. thanks johnboy

Hi mate if you have a look under the car on the side you wont to adjust you will see a small hole put a phillips heads screwdriver in to there and you will pick up that small plastic rod he was talking about and you can adjust it without taking off the panal. ( hope this helps ) john

Nice car mate iam moving to gold coast next month so iam looking forward to see all the xr's up that way. Ive just had the unichip installed on my car with center muffler taken out and bigger air intake and what a ride I love it and I can see why the mods are so indictive.

I went the Wednesday night drags at WSID and there was a young guy there with a xr6turbo and he had hood open and noticed that it was all flaked and I said to him was it because it got hot and he said na it went in for a service and they put the gurney on to it to clean it and it came back like that so they must get the gurney close as ( may be the boy's job ). I didn't like the look of it but he didn't mind too much. :cussing:

Hi fellow member's Iam looking to take out one of my muffler's and ive read on here that most people have taken out the middle muffler and then I went to my local exhaust shop and he said na na I take out the back muffler as the middle one is a strait though job and the back one is baffled. so now iam really confused as too which one too take out any help please. JOHN

how come my boost gauge say's vac 20 not boost 10 when it is running and it is hooked up like you guy's said ? any help please

Hi Jason John Loveridge here Iam from Wanganui and now living in Sydney. I had a AU XR8 and loved it (being a v8 and all ). We sold our house back in NZ and thought we would upgrade to a BA and I would of loved to get the BA XR8 but we thought we would try the XR6 turbo and we brought it. We love it man it would eat the AU XR8 for breakfast and then spit it back out. The turbo would use as much fuel as the v8 or maybe a bit more ( I hope the wife don't see this) but that could be because I don't muck around with it I give heaps and it love's it. hi there dont want to sound like a boy racer but has any one installed a blow off valve on a xr6 turbo with the auto and is it worth while doing so. any help would be appreciated

Hi there this is my 04 XR6 Turbo I have just brought. I love it after owning a AU XR8 it has so much more power ( and I thought the XR8 went well ). Went to a Dyno day at penrith last week . the average ss genIII 5.7 were putting out about 180kw at the rear wheels. put my car on stock standard and it did 194.7 kw so very happy with and do some mods later on.
