  1. Depsoti paid, subject to Goldie looking at it. We've organsied it for next week, so I'll give you a buzz to book it in the Goldie
  2. I know the car. It is a genuine XR6T engine conversion, however.... It still has the single spinner XT diff. Still has standard ECU, with a seperate boost controller, therefore it's hard to adjust fuel and ignition settings. It's had a fairly hard life, and the diff it clunking. I would factor at least $4k on top of the price to have a peice of mind it will stay together. which almost takes you to the Xr6T standard price anyway :(

  4. I hope so. I'm trying not to sound like a dill.... I know a fair bit about the old Ls1 donks.... But the Xr6t is a new territory for me, and I'd hate to lay out my hard earned dollars on something that's as likely to blow up as Iraq If it was standard I would just get an RACQ inspection, but with the mods etc, I would just like the peice of mind in knowing that somebody that knows abit about these has given it the thumbs up..... then I will hand the bank cheque over
  5. Heya gents. Well I'm converting from LS1 to what's known in my ring of family and friends as the darkside...... an xr6t. I've found a car at the coast that's been modified and we've agreed on the price. I don't know alot about the mechanicals (all I know is that it drives better, and goes harder compared to the clubby) Is there someone from the Gold coast area that you could suggest to take a look at it all for me. I'm happy to pay up cash for their time, but I just don't know what to look at. Thanks gentlemen
