  1. Any of those, there all very similar, same price range, research the data for each. I like 5W-40 now. I tried Nulon 10W-40 because a few recommended here and was cheap, it was in for 6000ks and came out with a red tint which means it had oxidised (not good), had a bit of blow by with it as well. Years and years ago I had a Nissan CA18 motor which would rev to 9000rpm, I had an oil change on it (I couldn't be bothered). The mechanic said he was going to put Valvoline it, I laughed thought he was joking, he assured me it was good it was new etc. Anyway, I didn't argue he had just run a Nissan in a Bathurst 12hr category and came 3rd running this oil. So yea, Synpower it was made a massive difference to the car I had and once again has made a big difference to the XR, better fuel economy and no blow by, good temps, doesn't need snake oil additives either like a few other brands out there. Underrated in Australia, but the other 3 oils are pretty good too. 2c
  2. Yea filter is clean. Isn't it the same issue though. I want to keep the pressure in the line, if the relief vents it will drop the pressure in fuel line. What do KPM modify in there in tanks.
  3. surge and lean out
  4. But I have the same symptoms even with the aftermarket pump. Apparently, the high pressure pumps don't have a relief valve only the early walbro pumps. Well, the AEM doesn't and that's what I have. Cheers
  5. Is this method still viable, sorry for the thread mine...
  6. Must be time for my meds Yea I'm trying to keep the forum alive lol
  7. Ok, I get it now, they don't have them from the factory (stupid fords) my apologies arronm. However, my stance regarding wheel alignment remains.
  8. So did they put shims in? Lets find out so arronm will be happy. Mine is SSSL and I had shims taken out. I don't have a camber kit I.e. 'longer threads'...
  9. Just so everybody knows this is completely wrong (see below). If you need a wheel alignment take it to arronm, apparently only he knows.
  10. Had many cars, I even helped my wheel alignment guy this morning Plenty of thread for a couple of shims hey? How many shims in a stock fg arronm?
  11. I don't think the specs agree with you aaronm. If it is lowered it needs more -camber just toe in some more. This is for standard BF though. I have the XR as well if anyone wants it. Huh, this sounds weird...
  12. Yep, it won't be too much the shims come in different thickness as well. Just take it somewhere they won't overcharge you for doing it. I had quotes ranging from $175 to $50. The person I took mine to already had some shims laying around, ironically I had to take some out to get more -camber on the front. Just had another alignment this morning actually lol.
  13. About 1-1.5 slightly lowered isn't it? You will only need a shim or 2.
  14. How much camber do you want on the front?
  15. Ok then lets talk about a VL turbo, VS SS, VT HSV, those old poofy falcons with sh*t written on them, classic car? No. You wouldn't buy one with low original k's? Its been locked in a shed since 1989 etc. Very minor issues to see it on the road again. Plenty more examples, these are the type of cars you would dream to buy. I may or may not be wrong.
  16. I don't think the market agrees with you puff considering low k GTHO Phase 3's go for how much? Any low k older performance car is always worth more, XR6T will get there too. Really only minor concerns for those that sit.
  17. The best full syn's are from Valvoline, Shell, Castrol and Mobil. These companies have always had the best choice for base stock. These companies full syn's are usually better than most of the 'true' syn oils available as well. Do some research on the specs and typical data for a particular oil and you will see that these four companies are continuously at the top. Australia makes some good oil, Penrite, Gulf Western and Nulon but they just don't have the resources of these massive companies.
  18. No, that's what Ford chose because its cheap. I run a full syn 5W-40 never run better, better temp and viscosity control especially for turbo. Didn't like Nulon though. P.S Sorry Keith I'm not trolling you lol.
  19. Mocks are realistically gay
  20. Yea lol I mean moonroof, back along time ago I guess, 'moonroofs' were known and made with part of the roof of the car, so there was no glass or cover, just the roof itself that would move up and back etc. No sunlight or moonlight untill you open. Apparently, now these terms are interchangeable... I have a link to face book showing an example if that's alright mods
  21. Yea, its all good. Put in a moon roof not sunroof.
  22. It devalues the car $$$ and status, street cred lol
  23. No putting in leather and sunroof aftermarket... Looks ok, upgrade edition is decent but why does the boost solenoid need to be replaced 'soon' its a $40 part and 5 minute job to replace and he is a mechanic... Diff bush is a pain or $. Who wants a genuine transmission cooler? 2c oops hang on just saw the k's oh well
  24. Yea, maybe, other photos its back to stock but the pics don't work properly, really small. Sometimes modified cars have been looked after better. Flip a coin.
  25. This one has been looked after not sure if mods or not. Different wheels in pics, exhaust pipe looks different. Its in VIC. Still pricey, July build though (upgrade?) https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ford-Falcon-2007/SSE-AD-5520261/?Cr=8 Gotta love a three speed T400 on the highway. Yea, I know it will break everything else.
