  1. Yep Gulf Western, SYN-TS is mixed with lifeguard in mine and its fine ZF 6-Speed. There a quite a few using it now, its old news. Have a look on the site. Wouldn't use Nulon, sorry puff. https://www.gulfwestern.com.au/wp-content/.../08/SYN-TS-ATF-10W-2-2016-1.pdf
  2. Yea sorry forgot, mine had steel pan. You can pick up the plastic replacement from $90 now. Automotive superstore I think or buy the steel pan.
  3. $30 for the ZF filter and gasket. $150 for Gulf Western Syn-TS 20L (enough for 3 standard changes). Do it yourself or $100 labour at a decent transmission shop.
  4. There only good on fuel on the highway, plus when you mod it you will be paying for 98 as well. Have a look at the 300KW club threads heaps of good info in there. https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/forum/123-300-club/ One tip you don't need the biggest and the best of everything for 300-350 rwkw
  5. Go the roosters! haha. Just turnaround now...
  6. No the pressure valve in the module/assembly I removed and hooked back up to correct line. Sorry I don't know what you mean by fuel pot? Are you using the original fuel module with walbro pump or new larger module with walbro pump?
  7. Take the valve out. Fuel pot? on vent line? I just removed the valve and now have no surging. Double check the lines off the module, mine had been changed and the return was to the vent line. Car still ran fine until under a 1/4 fuel. Is the car stock standard boost etc? Why running walbro?

    Turbo play

Mine has a little movement in/out and side to side. Its still the same and fine after 10,000 kms plus at 14psi. Had to replace the wife's diesel captiva (worst car ever, I couldn't change her mind) turbo a little while back and it was fine for 100,000km with 2 oil changes lol.. When it started to seize would still run but there was a cm play at every angle lol. Use good oil and change the turbo oil filter situation. Engine flush the oil as well if you know its history.
  9. Wouldn't the king springs be cheaper even to NZ?

    In The Club

I'm not a Ford man but that is pretty neat
  11. Superlow pair are rear ssl and front sl which is lower than stock xr6 height. king springs took that into consideration. my sl front scrapes so u wouldn't want 'ssl' in the front. https://kingsprings.com.au/catalogue/vehicle/167/ford-falcon-ba-bf-xr6-sedan-2002-6-2007

    Brake upgrade

Yep, as above^ If you are on a budget remsa brake pads (ebay) are good and I have had good luck with this brand 322mm rotors. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/STYPE-fits-FORD-Falcon-BF-XR6-TURBO-XR8-2005-2008-322mm-FRONT-Disc-Rotors/132118326068?hash=item1ec2ddab34:g:-9UAAOSwTM5Yvo-9:sc:AU_StandardDelivery!4503!AU!-1
  13. All good, for the rear https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PolyPro-Rear-Bump-Stop-Bushing-fits-Ford-Falcon-BA-BF-FPV-XR6-XR8-BUSHES-BLACK/132283642272?epid=11007762369&hash=item1eccb831a0:g:eu4AAOSwMpZUqjTU For the front https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Whiteline-W92900-Bump-Stop-Bushing/162948164835?fits=Model%3AFalcon|Plat_Gen%3ABF&epid=19017020406&hash=item25f077ace3:g:qIgAAOSwojdbMKAJ
  14. Yea, superlow unless you want rim under the panel. Superlow still legal as well. Get the short whiteline front bump stops as well and the shorter rear bumps. ebay has them pretty cheap. This isnt my car but its what superlow looks like
  15. You really only need standard springs and shocks unless you want to get fancy and/or track the car a lot of the time. I have super lows, don't really need to go lower I scrape some of the time but it handles a lot better. I would go bilstein shocks though next time, have Monroe GT. Get a 27mm front swaybar for the front, leave the rear one stock or smaller hmm they say.
  16. I have that model car BF11 May 2007 XR6T. Have you checked the VIN, does it have the mk11 badge? Should be LSD, 322mm front rotors. Manual or auto (zf 6 speed)?
  17. Is it BF turbo? You should have 322mm front rotors. So, does it have a LSD?
  18. Are you still marking everything with crayon or have you worked out what they do yet?
  19. Ford and Autotech worked on it. It could have been done to increase fuel pressure. Your also not hearing me its been changed on the connectors/splitters down from the lines.
  20. The return runs back under the vent pipe which isn't the correct way according to the manual. The issue was happening with the stock pump before it was removed by me anyway.
  21. Ok I have a good one, removed pump assembly, took out the relief valve, still surging (has AEM E85 340LPH pump but only running 98 atm)... It was starting to be ridiculous so I thought unless my pump has been removed before maybe ford got it wrong. Check return line oh no fuel. Check vent line oh wow some fuel. Check ford diagram fuel pump assembly (below) mine is not like that its different unless its changed for some reason. My return runs back under vent line and continues across. Anyway, hooked it up, NO surge way under a quarter, only has relief valve taken out (standard pot). If you are getting surge I would be checking that line. Mine also drove fine hooked up the wrong way until I got low on fuel 1/4 etc because it was retuning through the tiny vent. https://goo.gl/images/FxY5xW
