They cannot guarantee an outcome. But, there are other avenues that you can continue with if they cannot get an outcome. In QLD it is QCAT which is a soft court process which can make a final legal decision with the issue that has to be followed. You definitely have a good chance for repair of the vehicle or payment of costs. Just follow the process.

Yea I do and it will take an hour for what I want done. But he also said to me this morning I usually charge $300 for cats from his supplier whom he has trade with for 20 years. He is just calling what he thinks is my bluff on the price I can get the cat for. I'm poor so I have to scrounge but there is a lot of money to be saved out there if people take some time to learn a few things. Lets break it down then. I pay $250 for for cat, labour to put it on becomes $160 per hour. I am billed for 1 hour. Job only takes 30mins. $320p/h for a cat install.

No he told me he could get it for $190 trade because I told him I could get it for $170 which I can. But if I cannot get it, he could only sell it to me for $250 for the cat only before labour.

Yea I can see that but its not how is was originally done we are already paying $99+ per hour and there are some shops still doing it the old way.

The fun continues, I can get my cat for $170 but the 'new' exhaust guy can only get it for $190. Funny thing is he won't get it for me unless he charges $250 + labour. But its ok if I get it he will only charge labour which I have as a quoted price I know it changed a long time ago but why do we have to pay retail on parts plus labour anyway its all turned to

I have a turbosmart actuator to go on (tuner wants to use it). Its just the stock actuator atm with turbosmart manual boost tee.

Just has the turbosmart manual boost controller in it still.
