nothing wrong with this question, its a performance car if you dont want to drive it hard spend 10,000 less and buy one without a turbo. G series would surely use pertty much the same as the ba, maybe a little less so driving it as hard as you do would use between 20-22 I think, I looking at a BF typhoon shortly ill drive that hard, but I doubt ill get it to over 20liters for 100kms. that is insane, mine was at around 15-16 my Ba turbo, and that coped a hiding so much so it went thru 3 turbos.

hey guys upon normal driving around town, I been serious to, I was not giving the car sh*t at all, just normal driving started to notice a whistle, thought not much of it cos no lack in performance or nething few days later still got the whistle, but I was originally just giving some revs to get rid of it, when I tried this time, the turbo wouldn't boost properly it sounds like its trying but no boost gettin there or its got a huge leak or something I hope turbo not broken as warranty out and its a new turbo cos it was replaced around 39000 kms ago, no sudden clunks or loud sounds that I would expect if something brok just started doing it, pleasae tell me its something small and easy to fix! any help would be good thanks

I dont no where you guys are getting your prices from, last time checked car sales, you would be paying $28,000-31,000 for an Xr6t 04, with low kms like that, even ts with my specs were around the $30,000 mark..

pretty sure in the book it says to run atleast 95 octane doesn't it? I run premium all the time never put normal unleaded in it. if you dont wanna spend the extra few cents on getting premium maybe turbos arnt for u, get a V8

that sounds pretty bad, I fill mine up after floggin it around town and still get rated at 450+++ kms, and when I on the highway I would get around 600. mate up here has same prob he gets rated at 350 or so giving it prob less sh*t then I do.. seems odd but I dont complain

If u are stock, he will beat you, my mate has a R32gtr, and we have raced alot. he has a few mods but still when it launches you have no chance, he pulls 4.5seconds 0-100. that's 1 second on me alrdy and after that he dont really pull away but I dont gain much either..

these things let u run more subs and different speakers? and they only cost $240 or so? that's awesome!

the last thing I had fixed I was happy with, it made a great difference made my car go harder, not to sure why. but when they fixed it they brok something and blamed me, then since I didnt pay them for workin after 5 oclock on a warranty job, they flagged my car. so yeh dodgy is one word I would use..

well the ss ute I went against was limited to 220 or so, I passed him waving! on a private road that is owned by a friend of mine!

I would not worry about it, very rarely mine does similar if I go flying up to the lights and break hard to pull up it will feel like its gonna stall but never has. but I dunno so get it checked out..

yeh utes suck balls when my car was broken I kept up with one it was the xr8, but still would be same weight as the 6T, now turbo fixed I wouldn't waste my petrol beating it!! as for the 6L SS I been tryin to go up against one in my normal BA Xr6T no mods, but runnin pretty good 1/4s for stock.. so ill give it a run.. 5.5 0-100 isn't bad in auto! mates gtr did it in 4.4 which explains why he always beat me of the line! well all the time.. low 13 he gets on 1/4 with medium, boost! ill have him when I get my edit!

when I was buying my new mags I sold my old ones to a mate, I used his 15inch AU rims on my car whilst I waited for new ones to come, I nearly cried once the 15s were on I started car to move into car port and it wouldn't move at all. first ijust put it in gear and was waiting for it to roll forward, but nothing so gave it a bit to get it goin still nothing I was like ummmm not good. lucky we figured out it was the rim causin the problem.. was all good when my 19s arrived!

Just a quick check then if u do use the fog lights when your driving at night time, or on the high way, say yes in your reply if you dont say no, I do I always use them on highway and whilst driving at night. alot of my night driving is at the highway anyway..

There are cops arnt there, swear I read replies from cops. we just dont care, not like we hurting anyone with lights...
