  1. the classified section seemed very lonely. I haven't been around here for a very long time.
  2. this fourm has really gone downhill.
  3. Hi All, I've got some fiberglass boxes I made many years ago which I no longer need which might be of use to someone. there are 3 boxes and one cover plate for the top. 1 has a 8inch rockford fosgate sub in it, 1 has a blaupunkt 600W amp and the other is empty (used to have a PC in it) the boxes have some holes in the bottom for wires, but these aren't viable. the only visible hole is one where a fan used to be (this can be patched and I have spare carpet to cover the hole) see attached images. If you interested, PM me an offer. I'm located in Melb
  4. you wont be able to fit a full double din head unit down the bottom (well not without cutting some things out) if you see my first image, I did have a 7 inch touch screen down the bottom for a while but it was very awkward to use.
  5. Sadly no, there was still was a bit of work behind the scenes to do then.. had some things come up that prevented me working for while and then the PC s**t itself as a result I lost interest. still have all the plastics sitting around.. but doubt I will ever get back on it.
  6. Happy Birthday djmickyg!

  8. I've been moved to the "important" section, exciting day for me. Still haven't had a chance to go out and get some paint mixed up.. hopefully some someone is open Saturday morning that can mix me up a can..
  9. thanks for the support.. it's a very painstaking job.. I expected to be well and truly finished by now..
  10. just a quick update did a test fit in the car today to see how the it all lined up.. had to do a little sanding back on the join line, but that's all good now.. the paint is just a plastic primer, I've rubber it back now and its ready for the final paint..
  11. It's an old lilliput screen, I've had it for about 4 years
  12. I thought you were just snobing me I've got to come get my jacket tomorrow! and what are you doing on these forums? you have a Yaris now!!!
  13. Test fit, still lots of sanding back to Adding sides and a few inside ribs to the ICC part and extending the button lip so it sits flush with the lower section I'm a little further along, I have to get some more pictures.
  14. This is how the lower section was from my friend (after I sanded it back, as I was going to use it to start with) But then I chopped it up and started again, as I want to flow a lot nicer with the lower section I had to cut and extend the lower section so it flowed into the ICC part.
  15. After having my CARPC's screen down low for over a year. it's time to move it up into the top position. (I use it much more that the factory screen) I got the setup up from friend who had it in his car, he did a great job relocation the ICC and sorted out all the problem associated with that, which make my job a whole lot easier and quicker. but I wanted to redo the plastic as his had a few cracks and the lower section with the ICC wasn't how I wanted it. here is the progress pictures of where I am at, (all the joints have been plastic welded so no cracks should develop) Lots more sanding to do, with plastic welding it usually requires refilling holes and re-sanding, over and over again until smooth
  16. Starting to get some mixed resonses now.. revheadrobbo : they are a cushion button yes?? I don't want to full button. Scriber: Yours did feel nice, yes. I wont be getting the shifter so I dont need worry about that I can get the exceedy installed for the same price as just buying the mal wood kit without installation. Joey: how much power are you running ATM? decision decisions.
  17. I'm looking for a new clutch atm, and it seems like the Exedy clutches aren't that good. I spoke to the guys at Nizpro the other day and they reckon the Exedy clutches have fixed up some earlier problems and now they will be good for my 300rwkw's Just wondering if anyone has had one installed recently and been happy with it?
  18. how can you be happy while your at work on a 42deg day!? sound deading the rear wall was the greatest thing ever. I can hardly hear my drive line clunk now
  19. here's a picture of it all covered up (happy SCRIBER?) Dagabond: whats unorthodox about it?
  20. I gota take some photo's of it covered up, I'll do it soon and I leave on the 2nd ahh it's to hot today.
  21. I may as well show off my pc, it's been in for about 1 year now this is now my 4th setup over 2 cars, my first was almost 3 years ago. here is a picture of the touch screen, I can be a little low at times. I do plan on moving it up to the ICC position and and moving the ICC down, but that's a very very long term project. these are my custom boxes for the back of the car (this picture is a little old, it is now complete) the PC in the end box the amp /wires is in the middle box and the sub in the first box. I have a carpet flat panel over the lot that make it look all stock (without the center hump)
  22. A friend is selling some plates FORCD6 for Vic pm me if your interested
  23. is this open to non ford people? I have a friend with a Celica Gt-4 that would love this
  24. That makes me number 5.. thanks scriber for the tip off you keep me updated.
  25. Hi, I've got Kings all round, lows up front and I think Lows in the back, the back doesn't sick level with the front so I may one day get it compressed a bit.. all up it cost 450 for the springs and a day to fit. It really does firm up the ride quite a lot. Also Ive got the white like 27mm front sway bar which helps a lot keeping things flat though tight turns and most of all helps a hell of a lot with the stock setups tendency to want to keep doing straight through fast turns. I will eventually get around to putting in a rear sway bar one day. If I was to do anything differently again I would go something better up front. with the rear there isn't much choice, the main ones are king and pedders (which suck) the pedders rear spring uses 4 fat leafs, the kings use 6 thinner springs, so they ride wont be as hash on the back Alot of people have super lows in the front which look good but with this cars excessing front overhang and failer to fit length ways into normal length car spots I'm always scraping the front.
