Ha cops are awesome.... I don't like them... I came out of a club one night in outer Brisbane and walked into the end of a punch up. One bloke was out of it on the ground with blood all over his face and the other being spoken to by 3 cops. I then watched the cops arrest the guy who was on the ground and put him in the back of the paddy wagon. I was pretty hammered and was sure they made a stupid mistake and arrested the wrong bloke as the other guy was walking away, so I expressed my opinion of the cops quite loudly. I didn't get aggresive or anything like that, just told 'em they were good for nothing. I was then thrown into the side of a cop car as I attempted to wrestle my way out of being handcuffed, which didn't go to well, and tried to explain that they once again had screwed up cause I'd done nothing wrong. The next morning I woke up in the watch house and was realised and given my wallet back etc... and I was given the date that I had to appear in court, yet the cop told me not to bother going cause it would lead to nothing and cost me about 10 bucks. I obviously never went. I left the cop shop and started walking in the direction my mate was coming to pick me up in. About 10 minutes later I was bailed up again, this time with lights and sirens going and taken back to the cop shop. I had no idea what was going on. Turns out I somehow became the prime suspect in a rape case that happened at the club I was at the previous night. DNA test and a few interviews later I was realised and found that while my mate was waiting he was also questionned about my actions the night before, if I had a girl, if I was aggressive towards women, my sexual tendencies - the whole lot. Anyway obviously I didn't do it, and it turns out the time it allegedly happened (which they knew straight away from the complaint) was while I was in the watch house. How hard was that for them to work out??????I was never called and told I was cleared or whatever and it took me almost a month to get my jocks and t-shirt back that they took for testing. Meanwhile I had to tell work why I was arrested and being investigated. It was some fine police work.
