Sorry to revive an old thread. Looks like this was for BF, could the same be applied to an FG turbo?

I'm currently working with the developer to make some changes and improve the app, I'm going to test another version tonight - I'm hoping he will publish it on the play store. Once that is done, the hardest part will be making the cable - something that I am unwilling to help with as it was a total PITA! But the cable needs to be made as per this thread on XDA: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2220108 Unfortunately it needs to have a micro-usb connection to send the data and the audio is sent separately, so my spare phone is sitting in the centre console with a micro-usb connection and 3.5mm connection - it's more of a proof of concept right now. Once I get it to a reliable state, I'm going to look at tidying the cabling and possible change the 3.5mm audio connection to use a bluetooth to 3.5mm adapter. (If that makes sense). I mean I wont be making the cable for anyone, but I can answer any questions about it.

Haha sorry to resurrect this thread, but I found it a few months back and I really wanted to get the iPod interface working with my Android phone - with the song metadata (artist,song name etc). The original developer stopped supporting this app and it didn't work with the FG Mk1. Another guy picked it up and started updating it for other cars, at this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-podemu-connect-android-to-30pin-t3234840 It still didnt work out of the box, but luckily the source code is available online, After about 5 hours fiddling with the cable and another 15 or so hours looking at the source code, I've managed to compile a version that works! So to confirm, this is an android phone (Nexus 5) connected to the iPod port of the FG Mk1 (G6E Premium Sound).

I'd be interested in getting a copy of your gauge setup if I can... How do you have that GPS attached to the ICC lid?

I've never come across this issue before. I had a quick look, are there any DIY guides on how to do this?

Hey sorry to revive an old thread. I have a DSC question. I've just bought a 2010 G6E turbo. I can turn off DSC by holding the button in for a few seconds (the light comes on the dash). But I've found that if I flaw it from stand still, the TCS still kicks in - well I assume that's what it is. It seems to cut out when the wheels start to spin. I'm not sure if this is something more sinister, but I've found that if I boot it hard in a situation where the wheels wouldnt spin - eg at 60 - 80 ks and the engine seems to have the same sort of load, it's fine. (I hope that makes sense). It almost feels like the TCS wont turn off - even though the dash says it is.

Upgraded the subwoofer in my G6E turbo to a KENWOOD KFC-XW800F. Sounds a lot better, but in the process I broke a few brittle clips :-( Fully sick

Fair enough. yeah I went through the bumps and scrapes with the ED. TBH I'll probably keep it stock for some time. Thanks for the advice.

What was the go? I had an ED falcon years ago that was lowered (just springs) and that was a pain, it ate tyres. What is your experience?

Just bought this, picking it up Thursday.... Apparently the colour is called Harmony - with beige leather lol. It looks really nice in the flesh - needs some low.

Hey guys, new member here from Brisbane. I've just purchased a G6E Turbo (2nd hand). I'm hoping to pick it up this Thursday, which is also my birthday, Happy Birthday to me! This is the only pic I have so far From what I've read people think this is a horrible colour - but I think it looked awesome.
