Roo32 it's just shy of 10k but might go up if nothing good comes with that price, waiting till after xmas to see if anything good comes up after then. Thing is I am in no rush to buy anything because I still have a reliable daily at the moment which is good because I have been in that trap before.

I had a rethink about the car I posted and came to the same conclusion that it's not worth it. Definitely going to go for a BF now.

Yea after an Auto as it will be my daily so it looks like the ZF is the way to go

I am thinking of going with the BF because the zf is it a massive difference between the BF and BA gearbox, im not talking strength wise im talking driving, does it feel completely different?

that's what I was thinking only BF's up at the moment have around 210k ks so looks like im going to have to wait till a decent one comes up. Alex

I drove an Fg xr6t today and it blew my socks off had a BF MkII N/a before and I thought that was quick this was completely different. still have to make the decision to go BA or BF. at the moment I am leaning towards BA because cheaper but in the long run I think BF would be? e.g valve springs and having to do auto box eventually.

I don't know what state your in but over here in WA I have not seen a BF for less than 8.5k in the past 2 months. Currently there is only 4 BF's for sale here.

Hey guys first time posters, not sure if this is the right place to ask. Just chasing some comments about the following BA xr6t http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/west-perth/cars-vans-utes/xr6-turbo-2004-ba/1133088552 Doesn't say anything about valve springs being done so that is very worrying. also it's the 4 speed Auto which is not amazing. I'm just here to ask the same question everyone else asks is it worth getting this or should I be looking at a BF with the ZF6speed or is the BA xr6t I linked "ok" Also if I were to purchase her I would more than likely de tune(maybe not after feeling her power) and will getting the auto "rebuilt" need to be done?
