got onto pedders today and they can source a bolt on kit from some one, not sure who, in either 18 or 20mm. $210, fitment is easy and from most acounts it makes a huge difference. I'll let you know as soon as its done!
Has anyone done it? if so was it hard? where from and how much? oh and how thick mm? went to winton fun day on the weekend and the understeer into the corners in the ute was terrible. tyres are new(not the best quality but not too bad) and its been lowered alround slightly, nothing crazy. or if anyone knows how to get the ute's handling better round the track I'm open to suggestions.
mate I'd be cancelling that order because those exedy hd's are pretty crap. I got one installed by profesionals and it slips very badly on a 10psi generic tune. that's on a vehicle that would be lucky to be producing 230rwkw, let alone withstanding the 300 odd your talking about.
g'day, currently got a warranty rebuilt T5 with exedy clutch. utes modded an ready for a tune but I don't wanna twist the guts outa the poor old T5. rather sell it complete and put the t56 in. well that's the plan. I know it depends on driving style use and all the rest but what sort of power would you run safely through an option 2? would it be ok for around the 280 to 300 rwk mark? or are you better off going straight to the op 3? reason I ask is price difference.
