and that tells me you have no idea...you forgot the aspect of lift and how it affects air. Air over the wing will be faster than air below the wing at mach 1. the actual plane isn't going the speed of sound and a vortex cone is NOT created and thus why a sonic boom is not heard because the airflow is still slower under the plane than above it and hence why the plane must be in the vicinity of Mach 1.2 to be supersonic not transonic. but please carry on telling me im wrong and how you did physics at school

not at all....but they dont cover all variables. We can go back to the sonic boom episode if you really like..... curving a bullet? sure - make a machine. doesnt work - modify bullets to change trajectory. Done! dont use machine to swing the gun like in the Myth (and movie) after modified bullets sonic boom - cool test at mach 1. - sonic boom isn't achieved to mach 1.2. and you can debate it all you want.
