Was worried the btr 4speed mite be an issue.. any one know a good tranny place in perth?? An what coin would I be looking at for a rebuild.. dont want huge power??just something so when I pull up at the lights next to a hsv v8, I can say catch ya later. Good info guys.. So looking at a 4inch dump twin cat system into a single 4 system?? All custom stainless. Already have flash tuner but thinkn they'll have to reflash/reprogram getn bigger injectors, Bigger intercooler,ss growler induction,valves an bigger injectors an modifed wastgate better fuel pump to. Cant quite afford to get the relo for throttle,battery an air filter. Going to do most the work except modified wastgate an get put on a trailer to get tuned.. Would like to know if that sounds like a okay set up an what sort of power will I be pushing out?? And if im going down the wrong path cheers? Oh an a b m tranny cooler with thermo fan or pwr, like the boys have said is a must. Going for this setup as its in my price range!!

Hi guys need some advice have a ba xr6 turbo 4 speed with 200 though on the clock..Motor seems strong gearbox got replaced recently,is it worth spending money on ?? 4 inch dump exhuast,valves,wastgate,bigger cooler, air induction setup etc.Got a flash tuner but run it standard.

Hey I have the same problem..get a spray bottle fill with water an dishwashing liquid or liquid laundry detergent. Start your car when cold an spray any connections, do around your turbo an exhuast first so your not spraying the liquid on hot exhuast turbo etc. For example my leak is where the turbo bolts onto the manifold! If theres a leak you will see the soapy water making bubbles?.
