Typhoon Intercooler Vs Xr6t Intercooler
Process West replied to dlakers3peat's topic in Intercooler Workshop
I will supply any/all of my products for an indepenant test. Bring it on I say. BTW....My BF will be back on the road soon. Ive purchased an Innovate data logger. I will have it hooked up with a heap of sensors to measure intercooler performance (pressure drop, temps and a few other things). I will be taking the car to drag strip and also the circuit (the real test). Watch this forum. Kev -
Typhoon Intercooler Vs Xr6t Intercooler
Process West replied to dlakers3peat's topic in Intercooler Workshop
How I wish an indepenant comparision/test was done with the Plaz intercooler core Vs my intercooler core. If the core that Plaz uses was better I would use the same supplier as him and supply it in my kits. Time will tell. Kev -
Wanna sell it?? Kev

Mate Wait a few weeks and I will have package available that will include the stage 1 cooler, ABP (around battery pipe), cross over replacement + my cold air intake. Ive got plenty of new bits and pieces very close now. Kev

Process West Cooler & Intake And Custom 3 Inch Piping
Process West replied to MUZ580's topic in Intercooler Workshop
Below is a pic of what needs to be cut for the air intake..(how it shoud look). Kev -
Ive been bogged down lately with custom jobs. Late today I will have completed a plenum kit on a Territory. Once this car is gone my new development vehicle will be in the worshop and I will have a clear run at all of the bits and pieces I have been promising. So, there will be a few new parts coming along very soon. Kev

I have one coming. Kevin

Boost Sensor On Ic Pipe Under Battery
Process West replied to MUZ580's topic in Intercooler Workshop
Boost sensor/map sensor same thing. Weld a 3/8 barbed fitting into your new pipework somewhere near (before) the throttle body. Then run a 3/8 hose across to the boost sensor mount I sent you. Doing it this way means that you dont have to cut and extend wires. Kev -
Boost Sensor On Ic Pipe Under Battery
Process West replied to MUZ580's topic in Intercooler Workshop
Just to avoid confusion my intercooler kits normally come with everything needed to connect up the boost sensor. MUZ purchased my intercooler without the piping kit. Kev -
Im currently looking for a product development vehicle for Process West. What Im really after is an auto BF Tornado. Today I went to the local Ford dealer and in the showroom was this. BA MK2 Typhoon manual. 19in BBS wheels, 12k klms and has aftemarket springs/struts/sway bars. This car really caught my eye...it looks so good....but I really want the ZF 6 speed. I almost bought the car on impulse but decided to think about it for a day or two. What are the differences between the BA/BF in the Typhoon. Kev

Late tomorrow I will have pics of the complete plenum kit including the air intake and will also announce pricing. I will start a new thread in my vendors section. Kevin

Fitted Process West Stage 1 Intercooler Today
Process West replied to velociTy's topic in Intercooler Workshop
Compare my cooler to the stock unit. Yes, I have added the pipe below the intercooler but I have also deleted the factory rubber hose that normally runs along the top of the stock cooler. Kevin -
I can sell you a 450 x 450 x 102 (core size only) but it will require a little bit of metal cutting and I can also supply a piping kit to suit. Kevin

Rob Ill look into the second row of injectors. But from what I see around here and talking to various tuners plenty of (smooth) power is available with 1 set of injectors. Thanyou for the offer to lend me the car. I already have a readily available test mule but will keep you in mind. Kevin -

I'm pretty sure I'll be on the phone in the next day or so grabbing the new cooler kit for the F6. Can't wait to see the plenum. This was actually with a less aggressive tune with 3-4 degrees of timing taken out. I'd like to congratulate you Kevin on a fantastic product and wish you the best of luck with your company in the time to come.
