  1. Its only 2 days and its a on a weekend...If you stand behind your product then you will be there. If you cant make it I will purchase one of your intercooler kits and take it with me..as long as your OK with that....same goes with the Plazma gear (Ive got a Plazma kit anyway) and any other company that cant attend. Kev
  2. Thanks....Im going to stay in that area...my Mrs likes Lygon St area..shopping,eating etc...will be staying a few days...should be good...I like Melbourne, great place. Kev
  3. All we need now is Plazmaman to step up to make the day are great day. How far is the Nizpro workshop from Lygon st?...(the only Melbourne location I know how to get to) Kev
  4. Im 100% flexible on when we do this..so any date suits me. I really want this test to go ahead... Still waiting for Alex to commit. Kev
  5. Im still 100% in. I know Rapid is in....still havent seen an actual commitment from Plazmaman yet. Kev
  6. So will the Falcon ute be released at the same time as the sedan??? Or will it be 9-12 months later like Holden? Kev
  7. Friggin great... happy days ahead...cant wait. Glad Alex mentioned PAC...I have been selling them intercoolers for about 10 years...they know what works at the track and what doesnt. The feedback from them has been invaluable for me. As far testing procedure goes I would prefer a hub dyno...give very accurate/repeatable results Kev
  8. So just to be clear....you are not going to be part of the comparison test. Kev
  9. I will ask again.. Why dont you throw your hat in the ring and be part of the intercooler comparison test? Simple question really. Im sure all of the forum members would love to see back-to-back testing on the same car... Forum members....do you agree? Kev
  10. Hey Alex Why dont you throw your hat in the ring and be part of the intercooler comparison test? Kev
  11. To really test things properly it needs to be done on a circuit with data logging. This way the intercoolers can really be put through their paces with extended full throttle runs..not just an 8 sec dyno pull. Still, Im up for any test. Kev
  12. I have the greatest respect for Simon at Nizpro...I used to pick his brain when I was kid with my VL turbo 15 years ago and he obviously knows his stuff. Bar & plate core (with the correct fin configuration...not sparcely finned Ebay stuff) is the best cooler you can buy. I see he also recommends a rigid plenum (cast or billet...not sheet) for best results. My stage 3 cooler is around the corner. Kev
  13. I will happily supply any of my products for back-to-back testing at no cost as long as Im there during the testing. Kev
  14. He said it makes the same noise when the car is dead cold..so your theory goes out the window. There are about 50 of these units in service and nobody has had the problem you predicted...but as you said some people know it all. Kev
  15. Problem is no matter what you do having a surge tank in the boot will stink of fuel. Kev
  16. Where are you going mount a 4lt surge tank? Kev
  17. What I said is correct. We had a dead stock manual XR6T ute and did before and after (within 20 mins) of each other and saw about 28kw atws difference with no tune. And I have repeated this test on 2 other cars since. Its all in this thread http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...t=0#entry495645 Unlike one of my competitors I do test products and back it up with data....not fabricated figures from my arse. Kev
  18. Because people are (were) buying my air intake and using it with a competitors cheap intercooler that needs an air intake (or air box and battery relocation) to get it to work. It is available separetly but only if you already have a PW intercooler and want to upgrade later down the track. Kev
  19. At 350kw atws there will be no difference between the stage 1 and stage 2 cooler. Good thing about the stage 2 is that you can build on it later....get the intercooler first, air intake later.....and if the power bug is still biting it easy to upgrade to the plenum. Another thing worth considering is that all of the products that I have in the pipeline will fit with my current products...like my soon to be released engine and transmission oil cooler kits. I planed my complete product line up over 12 months ago and they have all been designed around each other. Kev
  20. But you need an air intake of some description to make the Rapid cooler work....which adds to the cost. My air intake is no longer available as a separate item..unless you already have a Process West intercooler. Kev
  21. Measuring the surface temp of an intercooler tank will really tell you nothing (especially using an infrared thermometer on a polished surface). If you were to measure the temp of the air flow inside the tank you would have found aound 120 degree inlet and about 35 outlet. Kev
  22. Did you look at a new Range Rover Sport ...they now have a TT diesel V8 as well...nice. Kev
  23. Why dont you just buy my stage 2 kit and my air intake. If my stage 2 kit doesnt perform better then the Plaz stuff I will give you your money back. Kev
  24. Why?? Did you know almost all of the V8 Supercars use a Unifilter..they flow better and filter better...but I do offer the more expensive option of a K&N with the kit. Kev
  25. I will be releasing an engine oil cooler kit soon that will will have tapping points for oil pressure and oil temp (just like my very sucessfull WRX engine oil cooler kit). Kev
