1. If you are thinking about installing an FG inlet manifold and throttle body forget about the throttle body..you will need to adapt your BA throttle to the FG manifold...or just wait for the Process West conversion kit ;-) Kev
2. Yes it is, may even a few nice CNC units laying around
3. The pics are deceiving...radiator brackets look like they are not there. Anyway...Im up for an independent back to back test...care to be a part of it? Kev
4. Think carefully before you purchase.. Looking at the pics the complete lower section on each side that supports the radiator have been removed (there is a hinged metal bracket system) along with all of the factory intercooler mounting points. No chance that the car can be returned to stock. Theres a reason my intercooler end tanks (and the factory end tanks) are swept forward and use the factory mounting points. Ill post some pics tomorrow of how instrusive to your car this would be. You pay for what you get. Kev
5. k...good to know
6. Im 99% sure the FG block has the engine mounts in a different position. Kev
7. Nice work Dave.. 0.13sec behind outright fastest XR6T. Kev
8. except the BA/BF throttle body wont bolt to the FG manifold (different hole centres) and if you decide to use an FG throttle body the plugs for the wiring are totally different. Kev
9. Just to be clear the RDP FG has never had one of my intercoolers fitted...the extra 39rwhp was over another competitors intercooler. In any case...well done Lee and the guys at RDP. Kev
10. Doesnt matter what paperwork you have....the cops will still nail you Kev
11. Yes, I have read your PM...will try and answer in detail tonight..I have about 20 to answer (here) and about 50 or so PMs and emails from other forums...and there are only so many hours in a day. Kev
12. Hey Alex I can build you a custom intercooler core that would suit your circuit work application...PM me for me details Kev
13. Anti-surge tanks have been around for years...no doubt. When I designed this product over 2 years I had 3 very different looking prototypes that all mounted in this position. I find it amusing that anything new that has hit the market recently looks almost the same as one I sell....go figure. Kev
14. Reserve your judgement for a few months..there are a few heavy hitters coming out very soon tuned by the best who know what works and want doesnt. BTW...the pic of my plenum in the post above is from a car in my workshop from a few years ago...not the said 9 sec car...it is here. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58518 Kev
15. here tis..doesnt really show you much... As for recieving a complete kit with no headaches...here is a check list that I go through before sending out a plenum when purchased as part of a kit..all of the hoses are cut to the correct length. 1 x pressure sensor mount. 1 x 3/8 hose 1200mm long for brake booster 1 x 3/8 hose 550mm long for PCV return 1 x3/8 hose 1350mm long for rocker cover breather 1 x 3/8 hose 1300mm long for pressure sensor 1 x5/32 hose 650mm long for fuel pressure reg 1 x7/32 hose 1300mm long for BOV vacuum 1 x1in hose 960mm long for BOV 1 x1in hose 120mm long for BOV 1 x Pinch mould 600mm long 2 x large cable ties 1 x 3/8 straight barded hose joiner 2 x throttle body wiring harness
16. My unit is as easy as it gets...sit it on the lower section of the factory manifold and do up all of the bolts...all done from the top. Also worth noting that my plenum comes with a plug-in wiring harness to extend the throttle body wiring. Kev
17. Currently used on a 9.9 second stock bottom end BA. end of thread. Kev
18. Wow, another poor sap that cant think for himself...at least he didn’t use any of my actual parts in his advertising pics. Its flattering to know that what you produce is the best and that all others follow. Kev
19. well done Dave There is one particular tuner in VIC that used my plenum as a scape goat for his poor tuning and a dead big dollar engine that needs some lessons on tuning. As Ive said...time will tell....and it has. Kev
20. My stage 3 intercooler kit is $1950. Kev
21.
Mate my tanks are 100% Australian made, you can come watch me build one if you like. All Products used are bought from ballarat, this helps the local economy and local jobs. Please dont make up rubbish about them being made in another country.
Mate...relax In my post and F6_Jases post we are not talking about your product...We are talking about a copy of my anti-surge tank that another competitor has produced. Kev
22.
Personally, I'd rather pay the extra for the Rapid or Process West setup. They're plug and play so to speak and the of highest quality.
Well, one of them is high quality...the other is a poor attempt at a copy of my unit....still, I feel great knowing that I am helping a fellow Aussie in need....shame it wont fit with the ZF trans (which is 80% of the market). Kev
23. We recently have acquired 2 new children... 2 x Chocolate Labradors..these pics show them at 8 weeks old. So far they are just awsome dogs...love 'em meet "Rojer & Rafa" Kev
24. This is exactly the reason I wont sell them separately. In business you need to do everything you can to make your product more attractive than a competitors. My plenum comes with the harnesses and I can tell you it is a great selling point. Kev
25. The female plugs dont actually exist in any car....the plugs (and pins) I use were manufactured specifically for this job. Kev
