  1. Had a great weekend at Cooma for the Snowy Mountains 1000m sprint. All of you guys with big power XR6Ts need to get your back side to one of these 1000m events. 500+ KW turbo Falcons would love this type of stuff. It’s a totally different discipline to drag racing and an absolute blast holding it flat for 1km. The runway surface is covered in small rocks and is very slippery. Its a little daunting when you cant see the finish line because is disguised by a mirage....but all good fun I took the event overall in my GTR. Natsoft results here. http://racing.natsoft.com.au/635863542/object_27153616.98J/View?7 Couple pics and video from the event
  2. For the extra $370 you will get 15 degree cooler intercooler outlet temps and more power every time you step on it. Buy the Plaz unit and Ill send you my unit at no charge. Have your tuner back to back both. If the Plaz unit outperforms my product send mine back and Ill pay for your Plaz unit as well. that's how confident I am that my product is superior.
  3. My stage 1 and 2 intercoolers do not have the straps that come down....uses the factory mounting points. Kev
  4. Who's battery relocation kit is that....its not a PW part
  5. The VL that won the event last year had approx. 1000hp and weighed about 1200kgs and went 298. You will need a lot of Falcon to go 300. I came 3rd outright this year with 19.74 sec at 271km/h .....to go 300 I would need at least another 250kw atws Im hoping next year there will be some 600kw+ XR6s there...would be great to see what they can do.
  6. He purchased the Street air box...does not require battery relocation. http://www.processwest.com.au/index.php/products/ford/fg-products/street-air-box
  7. Pics tomorrow (Friday) arvo
  8. The F6 intercooler is very bad at 300 at the wheels let alone 350...sure the car will make a figure on the dyno for one pull...(or one stab on throttle on the street) but the reality is the outlet temps will be in the 70 degree C area within 7-10 seconds on the throttle....and the F6 intercoolers dont perform any better then the XR6T unit.
  9. I have E85 in my GTR...made 60kw more over 98 without increasing the boost...love the stuff. I can switch between the 98 map and E85 map with the cruise control buttons in conjuction with the boost gauge on the screen
  10. Happy Birthday Process West!

  11. 1/8 BSP plug....source from Pirtek, Enzed or Motorsport connections
  12. You would have one of the original stage 2 intercoolers...I did increase the size of the core about 9 months after releasing the "version 1" Kev
  13. There are different levels of cutting though... the pic above has the mounts for the factory intercooler cut out as well... My stage 2 leaves these mounts intact...makes going back to stock a whole lot easier Kev
  14. My stage 1 FG intercooler is the same as stage 2 kit except it doesnt come with intercooler piping. (core, no piping) The stage 2 kit is very capable at 400kw atws...we have seen 550kw atws but the outlet temps do start to rise. The stage 3 kit requires no metal cutting but there is a lot of cutting of the radiator support panel which is made from plastic...and is replaceable if you need to return to stock. If anybody wants a total non cutting kit I can cut the top 80mm from my stage 2 core ....and I guarantee it will still outperform the stepped PWR unit. (extruded intercooler cores are THE most in-efficient of any intercooler type on the market). I could also produce a stepped core but there is just no point...the "stepped" part of the intercooler that pokes up behind the plastic bridge between the headlights will measure approx. 460 x 80 x 30mm....that's a small amount of nothing as far as heat exchange goes. Kev
  15. It wont fit....your transfer case is in the way Kev
  16. You have one of my stage 1 intercooler kits.
  17. Looks good mate...my latest stage 2 is the largest non-metal cutting intercooler on the market...you chose the best product that is available. Hope you were happy with the delivery time. Kev
  18. Post of the year
  19. Will have the castings here next week...keep an eye on my vendors section
  20. Wow....product was sent out when it was paid for....ground breaking
  21. http://www.processwest.com.au/website/prod_xr6t/pw_product_fordxr6_stage1ic.htm bigger,better,no metal cutting..and it fits as well
  22. One is a knock off/replica/copy. Do a search on this forum and see which one was on the market first. All Process West surge tanks now have a second machined -8 thread on the outlet of the tank so that a second pump can be added with ease. Kev
  23. and one out performs the other by a long way as well... :-) If the "US sourced" cores (which are actually sourced from Turkey) were better I would use them...fact is they are not. Any one up for a back to back test....last time we tried to organise some back to back testing those with the biggest mouths didnt want to be a part of it Kev
