  1. Your car is FG?... PW FG stage 2 needs cutting. PW BA stage 2 does not need cutting
  2. "The bar and plate core was sourced from overseas, has internal offset fins, so is up with usual type being offered" Not quite...the bar and plate core you have is very open in its fin configuration. Below is a comparison with the core I use (on the right). When I order intercooler core I specify a very dense fin configuration...it costs more but it works :-)
  3. who is your tuner ?...has to be more to it.
  4. Don't ignore the data....one cooler is not slightly better than the other...it's a total smack down...I knew what the result of this back to back test would be before it happened....many many tuners over the last 5 years or so have been giving me plenty of feedback :-) If you are on the fence about which cooler to buy...buy the tube and fin....I will send you my product at no cost...have your tuner back to back the two.....if the tube and fin performs better send my product back and I will pay for the tube and fin product....ask the tube and fin fella if he will offer the same guarantee. Kev
  5. PW stage 3, Plaz 1000hp....B series
  6. Welcome to the forum Tuner involved is doing a full write up in the next day or two. Pic below shows comparison of intercooler outlet temps. 498 to 533rwkw...bolt off bolt on.... Results are nothing new to me :-)
  7. Not after you see the back to back, totally independent data that was collected in a Melbourne shop tonight....more info soon ;-)
  8. hmmm....I had better let my 20+ active dealers/tuners know that their feedback over the last 5 years is all wrong :-)
  9. Back to back test my bar and plate against any tube and fin....difference in outlet temps (and power) is not a little bit....it is night and day.
  10. I will buy it
  11. My 2 cents...Be wary of marketing that is better than an actual product ;-) Call some reputable tuners and ask what they think of in tank systems for high hp applications :-) Kev
  12. I have some currants in stock if anybody is interested...4.50kg
  13. will have a look when I get in tomorrow....keeping on top of emails is becoming difficult....I get about 50 a day.
  14. Almost all modern fuel tanks are made from high-density polyethylene and are designed to integrate/accommodate a twisted/crushed car in an accident and keep the fuel inside. Installing anything other than factory plastic fuel modules inside a fuel tank is a disaster waiting to happen. Rupture on impact will be considerably increased with a length of 5in diameter stainless steel tube inside your tank…(part of some aftermarket so called anti-surge systems). In a major accident would you rather 2.5 litres escape from a forward mounted anti-surge tank or 70 litres from the main tank. BTW...V8 supercars use a fuel bladder and the fuel filling tubes must be made from a soft flexible material as well....Metal filling pipes are not allowed as they could puncture the bladder upon an impact. Much like the scenario I stated above.
  15. I think you should wait...but Im biased :-)
  16. email me at sales@processwest.com.au and we can go from there. Online shop/ordering coming soon
  17. The Rapid is a 2 3/4in (same with Plaz)..has a 3in filter but tube is 70mm OD. They are both a knock off of my original part. Kev
  18. The largest diameter under battery cold air intake that is possible to fit is 70mm (2 3/4in). Any larger than that and you will be removing metalwork from under the battery tray which is very difficult to access. Unless something has changed no one has anything larger. My under battery cold air intake is $425.00 and is in stock and ready ship. Kev
  19. The elecronic units are conservative. The test tube method is science and the result is what it is. There are 2 United servos in Sydney that stock E85. Minto and Rozelle...about $1.06 Im an hour away from the closest one so I put 2 x 44 gallon drums on the back of my ute and fill up my GTR and F6 this way
  20. lots of misinformation above.
  21. The runway is 2km long so you have 1km to slow down, you dont even need to brake
  22. correct...he was 5th fastest overall...twin turbo V8 Jeep
  23. try it now....works for me
  24. Not yet, wont be long though. Most people want to see the difference at approx 310/320 kw atws...(max power of stock turbo FG turbo XR6).I will be tuning my F6 soon to this power level and doing the comparison....finding time has been difficult lately.
