The SA one is nice but also 3k more. your budget mate! How far is the vic car from u? id drive down and get it myself if under 1000km each way. then rego wont be much more then normal rego... just blue slip and new plates and your away and driving.

If u can get that for 11k jump on it!!!!!!!!!! Then save for a few months to get around 3k in your pocket and go see jet for some upgrades.... takes fark all to get a FG moving.

Pass on both mate, honestly dont bother with BA with BTR 4sp auto or T5 manual... I knew fark all about these cars a yr ago and went out to buy a cheap daily work ute and got a very clean BA auto with full service history as company car before I got it. Paid 7k for it and im now over 50k in modding it. Engine blew up at 300rwkw and auto was slipping hard. What iver leant is the BA is shight and as ive said from the start not worth looking at. Honestly look at nothing less then 06/06 or 07 model BFs

Yeah my tr6060 plus npc twin plate plus built tailshaft cost roughly 7k ss its def doable though is mr Roo wanting to buy a car then have it off the road for a few weeks to mod it? and as we all know 1 mod = to 57 others and a 200kph tyre frying machine Also going from btr to manual isnt as easy as other swaps. like t5 to t56 or tr60

Stay away from BA model all together, dont even bother with them at all mate. The one with the "supposed" fpv engine is a upgrade if all is true?? Remember these engines are built to last to 1 million km if looked after so to me anything under 200km in great condition with a relatively solid service history is worth a look... resale value in 5yrs or so wont change much as they will become rare as fark now that none are made new!! The turbo xr models from 02-06/06 are poor internally and dont like much power above 320rwkw.. some have gone 380+ but very rare. Honestly best looking for 07 BF or a FG. 06/06 onwards has the B series fpv engine internals including FG and many hhae seen 450+rwkw with the right mods and the right tune shop doing the job.

Id look into that car but be very careful and dont jump on it cause it hammers. Id def want to take it to the shop that tuned it and get them to look over it before buying. In saying that id pass and look for something newer and with little to no mods. each to there own I spose. Im in NSW and never heard of that place tbh

The top one ( could ) be a winner... though I personally dont like buying modded cars from others even though they have lost the money.. Does the guy have reciepts? where was the work done on it? Imo keep looking for a late model 07 BF there out there for around the 10k. ( safer option )
