    Red Wine

if any of you would like to take a day trip out this way we will happily have a free tasting day for you all, the roads here are great you would really get to let loose on the way here, but I would reccomend taking it easy after the tasting. if anyone is interested lets sort it out . I could meet you at a location not too far away and have a mass convoy in.

I live on a vineyard in bathurst it is alot of hard work to get a good bottle of red to the table I can assure you, my fave is cab sauv. put away at least three a week.
  5. Looks AWSOME. The black sports bar really sets it off, heaps better than chrome
  6. I HAVE A 1965 mk1 CORTINA, JUST HAD IT SANDBLASTED,AM GOING TO BUILD IT UP INTO A SUPER SALOON TO RACE AROUND BATHURST WITH THE BATHURST LIGHT CAR CLUB. I FOUND IT UNDER A TREE IT HAD BEEN SITTING THERE SINCE 1983 ACCORDING TO THE OLD LADY WHO LVED THERE. GREAT FIND I RECKON NOT MUCH RUST,IT WILL STILL TAKE ME A LONG TIME TO GET IT GOING THOUGH
  7. How about if you only have a CAPA flash tune though?
  8. When I told Ford dealer in Tempe Sydney about brake shudder he said it was a recall and to bring it in ASAP they machined the discs and it was fine for about 2000 Ks now it is just the same Upgrading to PBRs in a few weeks $2500
  9. Just wondering what others think of the red 8 on the XR8's. I think they look like a tacky afterthought, on saying that I am thinking of painting the 6 on my XR6T ute the same colour as the blue oval, at least its the right colour!
  10. Home brew is the best!!! I use the keg system it takes 13 days start to finish. It costs a little more for the set up but it is sooo worth it,no cleaning bottles just sterilize the kegs and away you go! I had a problem in the winter months with fermentation because it is so cold, now I wrap an electric blanket around the keg and it is fine.
  11. Thanks for the advice , yes 98RON is available 40 mins away, I will be going there tomorrow evening to fill er up. Cant wait for the cruise home
  12. No custom tune YET!! does anyone know of a decent tuner around the Bathurst area.Should I give the 10psi tune a go without 98 octane fuel or wait till its full with the good stuff?
  13. Hi, just signed on to this site cos today I installed my flash tuner.I have a XR6 T ute.No other mods except 18 inch mags.I have been reading some older reports on this site about peoples experiences and they got me quite excited. But after installing 8psi tune I felt a little let down, sure I could feel a bit extra and could hear the turbo whining, but I was expecting to be blown away after hearing other peoples first experiences.I live out in the country so I was able to give it a good squirt. It felt like it was pulling harder but when I caned it up the hill outside my place it still only got to 140kph, same as it always has. I also thought it may break loose(smoke up) when I floored it from a standstill, but NAH! Was I expecting too much? Or is this how it should go on 8psi? I wanted to try the 10psi tune but am only running 95 octane fuel, could this do any damage or be part of the problem? any help would be appreciated.
