Thanks Anthony, CDAA is my company plate I.e. CDAA Pty Limited. Have one on my partners LS Focus Zetec as well.

Thanks again guys. I'm still getting used to the yellow black combination. Before I saw it in flesh I was set on getting my usual black, silver or blue choice but the car in the flesh has just got so much presence, it's a real stand out and now I'm absolutely delighted with my choice! You lot appear to be quarter mile people, but it's not really what I bought her for. I would say at the moment shes' good for mid to low (give or take) 13's and I may take it down to AIR just once for interest sake. I used to drag race some years ago, but tended to get involved in more serious- drag only type vehicles. Overall she's fast enough for what I want it for. If I decide to go drag racing again more seriously I will probably buy and old Ford V8 or assist with my neighbours dragster. No hassles with reliablity or warrenty issues then.

Thanks guys for your kind comments. Andyturbo, the full Herrod system does sound fantastic. I just never get sick of pushing that starter button! I'm working on getting a sound file and will post it up as soon possible.

I was waiting for BF, and then I got stung by this Wasp GT beauty. 05 Rapid GT No: 264 with black stripes, 6 speed, leather, FPV Steering wheel, plus a host of new Herrod goodies. Average 13 lts per 100 with around 260rwkw (still being run in). I love my 6 cyl turbo's (and twin turbo's in my case) but It's great to be back in a Ford V8.
-
Your pretty right in saying that. Ive already done the turbo thing, but it was still nice doing it in a Ford. So compared to the modified GTP you drove, what's the F6 like?
-
You bugger!!! That looks fantastic, congratulations mate!! Wouldn't you know it, I had a yellow F6 yesterday for a short while while I was waiting for my partners car at the dealer. They were trying to convince me to buy it over a GT...lol It was a demo with leather etc. Took it up the freeway and then up to Mt lofty in the Adelaide hills. A very nice car indeed and quite a performer. The 6 speed is a sweet thing and well suited to the turbo. My head says this is a better car but my heart is V8 all the way.
-
Congrats nang! You beat me to an FPV!! Bugger!! The Black F6 sounds fantastic. What features/options did it have again? I would'nt be too concerned with the SS Ute..
-
I'm in the market. What you got to offer and where are you?
-
That's a great result Brad. More importantly how does the car feel compared to the unichip? Any thing noticable yet? Do you have more power down low now? What torque gain was made? And the most important question, how the hell are you justifying all these mods on your 'new' car (I.e. 'new' means nothing should need fixing ) to the little women????...lol Colville

Great pictures. Your kids look like they found the whole dyno experience very exciting. My little girls would have just asked why we weren't going anywhere and then what's the point! Only 5 and 7 and logic has already kicked in! Your car and the blueprint number both look great! Hope little Josh's health has stablised somewhat. He looks great in his 'Ford' attire. Colville

Hate to say it, but if your after a long term relationship, you need to get out of this one before your selfestem and self respect gets been beaten to death. If your only after a short fling, them just relax and enjoy yourself (use protection!!)

No problem. This may help. It's a copy of the factory specifications brochure: http://www.mkiv.com/specifications/93_brochure/1993promo.jpg P.S They are preety quick standard.
-
Your a checky man, but I'd be happy to be outrun by a T (I.e. blood is blue here) BTY the 4.6 was taken from a factory spec sheet provided with the car. If its wrong I apologise, but it sure doesn't feel like it
-
Although not a T, mines still a turbo, twin turbo in fact. RZ TT Supra, 6 speed manual- goes like the clappers and handles like a 911(bags of fun!) Slighly modded just nicely. Only imported last year. Haven't taken it racing, but factory stock specs claim 0-100 in 4.6 seconds (Bloody feels faster but..) Selling her now for a GT most likely.

Thanks Ryan, that was greatly appreciated! Hope you enjoy the crownies. And what a day today it was with Ford winning 1-2-3-4!!!! Fingers crossed for Sunday. Colville

I'm a company director of SA based, design, web development and hosting company CDAA. My job is to bite off more than I can chew and then chew like hell!! At Night a moderate another Ford based forum. Normally have an XR Falcon as a company vehicle, but thought I would try something different for a change I.e. mid life crises. Colville

Hi guys, the rumour is not true. See David's post on another forum (Ford Oz forum in the Pub) straight from the horses mouth. Hos user name BTW is Happy Jack Sorry the link direct is not permitted here.
-
Thanks Maxx Power, will keep it in mind and thanks for great comments about the Supra. Unfortunately I don't think it will be around too much longer, but it was nice to have somthing different for a change.
-
She works in the city as well, but in the transactional department.
-
Stop teasing me Brad. Why do you think I haven't caught up with you yet!!. Seriously driving your XR8 may do some serious damage..lol I need to be patient until the Supra is gone. I read on another forum that you work for the NAB. What department do you work in as I have a very close friend- last name Webber and she's recently started there. Colville

Just noticed this thread. I'm surprised and delighted there are so may other SA members here wth some very nice cars of course. I think it's time to sell the TT Supra and get back in a BA Ford.
-
Those Twin turbo Supra's are a bloody good thing!!! Not that I'm biased or anything  Sorry to here you feel let down by Ford/FPV as Doc appears to now. Gee how attitudes can change in only a few days I must admit sometimes I wonder if the newly introduced passion by Ford and FPV over the last few years has left the country with Geoff Polites. I feel he was the driving force behind giving Ford fans what they wanted and something to be proud of. He understood the importance of bragging rights within the Australian Muscle car market. From an outsiders point of view, I've never really been convinced (with exception of the T3) that David (Flint) truly understands this and the results show in the FPV products. We buy Ford performance car because we love the brand, they are technically very good generally and the cars performances are effectively good enough. There comes a time however when good enough is not enough anymore and this is something I think HSV better understand at the moment. Doc, money talks and bullsh*t walks. If you honesty believe FPV have let you down and HSV has something better to offer then there no better way of demonstrating this than going to the competition. Just make sure you let FPV know.

Looks like I'm a 'Gran Turismorator' as well. That Supra must be rubbing off on me.

Hi Ian, is the XR8 they are quoting a series 1 or 2? It all sounds very good regardless, but I can hardly say it's anything surprising. The old T5 was about the only average component in the first XR6T in the first place.
