  1. I probably pay a lot more than you do, but that's besides the point, many people have no idea about what the rules are
  2. Pricks in cars that think they are the only ones allowed to use the road
  3. many cars exceed 6 hrs, some shops sell there dyno time at $150-$200 hr, every business has different overheads
  4. The question that should be asked is, why a Monza???
  5. Ralph, I think you are on the wrong track, I read it as he has measured fuel pressure from the surge back to the tank and has 28 psi, OP correct me if I'm wrong, this pressure will not change with boost but may drop if the in tank pump can not keep up with the surge pumps. if the surge is splitting at 28 psi, you have shi77y workmanship or materials
  6. how thin is the aluminium?
  7. They might get you out of trouble though
  8. if you get a custom tune done in 2 hours you are not getting a full custom tune
  9. Genuine is the only ones we recommend, your new coils will not even fit correctly
  10. I know of shops that charge $1100+ for tunes, I know plenty of people that have gone to cheap shops and then had to repay for a good shop to do a good tune. I have a car that has been on my dyno for possibly 10 Hrs+ what do you think that should be charged at?
  11. from what I have seen many times over, many of the shops that are doing things cheaply are doing things quickly and near enough is good enough fashion, it takes time to tune these things correctly, WOT is easy to do
  12. Not that it means much, but I do not know Jakes as far as I'm aware of, I have met the guys from Gentech and believe they do a good job
  13. use the best tool for the job and there can be no excuses, that's what I believe anyway. If the idea was to show what the car is capable of, why not present it in a way to show it, slicks are the best tyre on the strip, if the car did not perform as intended they could not blame the tyres. What street tyres are going to handle a middish 10 sec pass in a car set up for street use rather than drag set up
  14. I thought most people used drag tyres to race on these days?
  15. a misaligned cradle will not have both wheels facing inwards but incorrect rear wheel alignment could
  16. yes because tuned and very restrictive muffler in place when tuned
  17. go back to stock
  18. your's is a different situation
  19. in most cases no
  20. stepped may still not be legal depending on the state rules but there is no cutting involved so fiting the stock would make it legal again if it was illegal, but once the support has been cut it a new radiator support panel and a job for a panel shop
  21. all your other posts on the different forums you have posted " my BA xr6t stock tune etc" you should mention anything that is different as an exhaust means it's modded
  22. not if the tester is doing his job properly
  23. Although it does not appear to be the case in this thread, but I would stay away from suspension from a written off car as it is most likely damaged
  24. suspension components wear out with use, consider this when working out whether it's value for money or not
