  1. got 2 sitting on me desk at work, straight dash 8 fittings, but there about $50 each 3/8 is too small and will cause a restriction
  2. Having a specialist appointment booked for a while, time deadline on the car on the dyno and the car wants to give problems
  3. it depends on how fussy you are, I have seen some that were not great fits but the owners were happy
  4. the mechatronics unit should have been stripped down and thoroughly cleaned by somebody that knows what they are doing, the water would have gotten into the unit and will cause corrosion on the pistons and bores and will burn the trans out at some stage from the valves sticking
  5. air to oil is not ideal, but a lot less of an issue than the milkshake, PWR seem to be the go
  6. and cause a restriction to oil flow, and change operating pressures
  7. and the clutch plate can be bent by hanging the box while it's partialy in
  8. terminals need to be cleaned from time to time
  9. pain the ass though to service batteries
  10. you can tell kev makes great gear... every body copies it
  11. ok, I need to keep up with whats going on
  12. Book it with Wholesale suspension for a second opinion before buying any other parts, just to check all looks good, a second opinion never hurts
  13. lol very true, one of the ones we saw went elsewhere because they were $100 cheaper, did not end up being cheaperr after a reco cradle and remove and refit of bushes etc, last we heard he was going to Vcat
  14. not quite correct Pat, we have seen 2 rear cradles that have been damaged by people using a rather large hammer to insert the bush, it pushes the tower forward quite a way and causes harshness through the car, both cradles require replacement.
  15. how was the centre bush installed? what sort of tool?
  16. A shop I used to work in a while back had a flushing machine, it was recommended to use 20 ltrs of oil for a complete flush but depending on trans condition we found that sometimes as little as 15 litres was required. Draining it and replacing it with the volume of oil that it holds is not flushing it.
  17. correct mate, you want the car customised to your requirements, the better you can describe it to a good suspension guy, the better chance you have of getting what you want, good luck
  18. all bf's have the same springs
  19. get somebody else to tune it then using hp. you may be able to rule out software if they fix it
  20. those bolts do not have to come out if you have just had an actuator replacement, loctite is no good in that situation

    Bf Stalling

cams should turn freely when no chain or lifters etc are in place
  22. with a stock tune the ecu will try to correct it back to the required level, but can only do so far
  23. are you talking one of the 6 bolts on the core? if so you most likely have a cracked housing and the bolt has worked it's way loose and will continue to do so, you are going to need to replace it and check it regularly if you are talking one of the 4 mounting bolts to the manifold, again real common and means you have not been servicing your car correctly
  24. was boost error logged on the dyno to know what really was going on?
  25. unless you want to run high boost you will need to port your turbo
