  1. genuine, why do you even bother asking questions, you seem to have all the answers and how's that turning out for you so far? You have no idea of what we have tuned and tested, only the stuff that my customers our ourselves bother to post, and fact is we have better testing equipment than most the shops around Australia, many get a basic dyno that measures torque and afr and if lucky boost. I have offered you our services if you want to bring your car and a bunch of equipment down to be tested, or are you not serious enough about it to actually put your hand in your pocket to get the best and honest result, you would just rather listen to answers that suit you
  2. genuine honest person I'm happy for you to employ my services to test different intercoolers on your car
  3. not a fair comparison as different cars respond differently, if different coolers were used on the same car, that would be fairer
  4. not all bag others but it does happen quite a bit, I've heard a few stories from people that come in about other shops, that talk to me like I'm there best mate but bag me out to customers, do not see the point in that at all
  5. you disbelieved about being able to do it, nothing about costs, you have been given two examples, My customers was a PWR cooler, Drilled injectors, outlaw cat and a catback that worse than stock and modified airbox and a set of valve springs because it needed them with the sh*tty exhaust
  6. one of my customers went 11.6 @120 with 302 rwkw about 3 or 4 years ago, full weight and on street tyres and driver was no light weight himself
  7. a smaller turbo generates more heat for the same power level, should be able to run 11's with 300
  8. oh, as you probably saw, the shop is pretty busy, did you book it in?
  9. high level brake lights have been the law for quite a while now
  10. apparantly his starts instantly on E85, would like him to post a vid showing this and temps

having the tune into the knock threshold area will result in more power
  12. no, well I saw a car once that the new owner thought was stock, ran it up on the dyno and it was very very lazy coming on boost and then maybe 1 lb extra in the top end, checked to find out why, the car must have been modded and returned back to stock before he got it. the 12 lb actuator was wound so the flapper was held open so it would not make boost, obviously an attempt to keep the boost down so as the ecu with the stock tune would not trigger an overboost situation
  13. yes you need it tuned, if not you will be running very high boost if already tuned, or until the stock ecu tries to shut it down anyway
  14. Stock, you need a tune at least, but then fuel system would be maxed before any real benefit is taken advantage of

    2 Step Tune

yes a 2 step can be configured, it may not work as well as some aftermarket ECU's though with a dedicated launch control feature
  16. yep, saw the bit about the injectors. Without checking, I did not think ID wrote the size of the injector on the injector, they have an individual serial number but not sure about the size number
  17. Brett is a very smart and friendly person.

even I know what's going on and don't live in the state, tuner chosen does a very good job I have spoken to them and suggested why there may have been on ongoing issue
  19. we spoke to a guy today that paid $500 for his custom tune, his car was in the shop for half an hour apparently, probably why he's ringing around trying to get it running well
  20. they are more accurate than some of the flow matched 60's I have tested
