  1. it possibly might be picking it up but the required retatrd exceeds what is programmed into the ecu I.e it is needs 10 degrees removed but the sensor is programmed to remove 8, so the car will still ping
  2. you need to asses the state of the car and check all is working as it should be
  3. same tuner or different? A ecu tune should not be used as a band aid repair for a mechanical issue which is what some people are doing, any mechanical issues should be sorted first
  4. the fuel is putting a band aid on your problem
  5. must have it turned off in your tune them
  6. car should not even ping on 91

  8. the cams constantly adjust themselves to the required position car should not start at all if the accelerator is held all the way down

  10. the guide can be checked with the rocker cover removed, but timing case needs to come off to replace it. Have another in at work at the moment, the timing is ok but the guide is broken loose but not broken apart yet, looks like we caught it in time
  11. turbo and exhaust manifold bolts should be checked and retorqued at every service, many of the aftermarket dump pipes are supplied with warped flanges and leak quite often unless refaced, the CHRA bolts coming loose indicate your housing is cracked

  13. looks like alcohol cars, there was a top fueler in the states years ago that the throttle jammed, it flipd over, landed on it's wheels and went back up the strip the way it came from and actually killed somebody
  14. spend the money you were going to spend on the cat back to buy an intercooler, you need high impedence injectors otherwise you need to purchase injector drivers
  15. you would be mad just to put a shaft in it without going over every thing else
  16. to be clear I was checking whether if what others were posting rubbish about your car which happens quite a bit, seems many like to bag out others, I had not seen you mention it at all. The main damage may have been done at another point in time and it finally gave up on the drive you did last and power is pretty much the only thing tat can break these stock shafts, but that power amount will vary according to how the car is driven, how grippy the tyres are, how hard the auto shifts etc
