    did you take the timing case off? if not you can not check the timing accurately using the timing marks to be 100%, not saying that is or is not your problem but just making you aware

    ok just checked my info BA 6 cyl thermostat is listed as opening from 89-93c and fully open 103-106C

    depending on customers requirements and mods we may fit a low temp thermostat, too low and fuel economy suffers, oil may not protect as it should etc. Forged pistons, that's another debate but piston to bore clearances are probably the biggest deciding factor in that car

    Factory thermostat do not start to open until something like 92 degrees and are not fully open until closer to 100

    can't do typhoon snorkel on the F series, you do the V8 box and snorkel, My test showed a clean factory filter flowed as well as a K&N at 300 rwkw
