  1. ouch. you said the car is stock but the sig says it's tuned, does that relate to another car?
  2. the dyno runs are numbered at the end, a cars output does vary with temps and conditions and these are pretty consistent
  3. how do you know it's the gauge that's not accurate unless you cross check against something else? The early ones we had seen/fitted appeared to be accurate, the later one, we have only seen 1
  4. This is a before and after comparison on my car, the car was strapped to the dyno, several runs made to get a base reading, the car was left on the dyno so no changes were made to the strapping, the underdrives were fitted and then run up again. No changes made to tune, not resetting ECU, as close to back to back as possible. I was actually surprised that they showed a gain on the dyno
  5. have found some of the universal ones flex under activation of the actuator which may affect things a little
  6. have found some of the universal ones flex under activation of the actuator which may affect things a little
  7. inlet manifold gasket is leaking
  8. a bent valve would have shown straight away as a miss fire and low comp
  9. 2 different part numbers based on what sender is used
  10. the old style has a different wiring loom
  11. 3/8 is too small
  12. a bit more than their acceptable 5%
  13. I wouldn't think this would be a problem but if the motor had sludge in it, that could cause issues
  14. totally guessing, never dealt with one of those computers, but we know these engines perform so you have an issue
  15. if it's just dropping power, then you have a control issue with possibly vct or just need more tuning
  16. is it cutting out as shuts off or just drops power? the computer may not be up to the task, what is it controlling, dbw throttle, VCT, injector drivers? etc etc
  17. the cooler pipes are built with a push in fitting with a couple of o rings, there is not a separate fitting, fittings are available to fit dash 8 fittings though
  18. is it using a factory ecu at all of just the aftermarket one?
  19. you need your tune fixed and possibly a better port job
  20. sump has to come off to do either and to get sump off either engine has to be removed or K frame removed from car
  21. Henz, is this yours? The guy delivering it did not know who it was for but said the new owner was a *beep* so I'm assuming it was for you
  22. it's overboosting, the turbo is not exactly the same as the one removed, possibly just the actuator may be different or you have fitted the hoses incorrectly
  23. pictures look different but the end result is the same thing
