    Booost?

same still applies, but get the number off the injector and a pic, might be able to help see if they are replacements ones or not, you should be able to get the previous owners details to check with them though
  5. privacy laws these days can be a pain in some cases can't they

    Booost?

there is no correct answer to that question except talk to whoever tuned it or the old owner and ask them why

Hey Henz, did you use your eyes clearly shows it touching 18 psi
  8. they look like 80 lb siemens Injectors, a flow test would confirm what they flow

  10. I tell people when first converting to E85 to change their filter every 1000 klms for the first 5000 to be safe because of any rubbish that initially comes from the tank
  11. tried to but it was just too much of a pig and had to be replaced with a cam from a S/C 5.0
  12. I have heard the coopers are ok but do not know for sure as I do not use them, I have got in some compatible filters but are $20 each, trying to work out a better price based on buying in bulk, they fit straight in place, I opened one up about a month ago after about 5k of E85 use and it appeared not to be swollen at all and still intact, even after my crude methods of opening it
  13. some paper element filters are ethanol compatable
  14. you need to know what sort of time they are going to spend tuning your car, if they are charging you $500 and spending an hour a half compared to somebody else spending 6 hours and charging you $800, which is better value, which do you think will be a better tune?
  15. hp tuners, not as comprehensive as SCT and in most cases will work ok
  16. so your mechanic could not diagnose it or you don't agree with diagnosis? Did he check your cam timing?
  17. Glad you understand, several people have blamed other products when in fact the combination they have is not ideal, many think bigger is better and it's not always the case
  18. if the intank pump was too big, it may cause a back up of fuel from the tank back as there is a restriction we have identified in the return side of things, once this fuel is backed up then the fuel coming from the rail will also get backed up and cause high operating pressure in the rail
  19. fuel goes from tank, through filter, into surge, into pump/s into rail, return fuel goes through pressure reg back into surge and then any remaining fuel goes from surge back to tank
  20. same rules apply, running too large a fuel pump feeding the surge can result in a fuel back up in the entire system
  21. test it and match according to flow requirements
  22. upgraded intank pumps can create fuel pressure issues if not matched correctly
  23. the early versions apparently did not have burns which is why they did not need to be updated
