  1. there is also no mention of the rear cradle which has torn mounts or a new roof lining, can the roof lining be replaced without removing glass?
  2. ^^ Ford Freak is just telling the truth, the panel shop quote is going to be the closest to being accurate and as mentioned, it may need to be jigged to make sure all is straight, there's a big difference between fixing it properly and making it appear fixed
  3. another thing to remember is there may be a lot more parts required to rectify the air bag deployment rather than just new air bags
  4. it's not just a pole tap, it's hit a gutter hard enough to break suspension components, the op should get a panel shop to quote it up and that way he will know rather than a bunch of opinions of people looking at pics on the internet.
  5. can see it costing a lot more than 4000 if repaired correctly
  6. the previous government had made it real hard for small business's they have probably done more to cut jobs than they have accused others of doing, I have never cared for politics but thank F##K they have gone , most employees probably have no idea about how hard it has been for business's the last few years
  7. ouch! this is going to hurt your wallet, is the roof creased at all?
  8. there is a big list of possibilities, he needs to see what codes are coming up
  9. there's plenty of turbo drivers driving around giving the same looks.
  10. if only the only consideration to who to vote for was internet speeds, life would be so easy. Yes, been and voted, first time that I have voted that I cared who do not get in power and filling out 97 votes below the line does take time
  11. it's not the actual wheel overall diameter that causes a difference in readings, it's the placement of the weight
  12. the cats we have are either weld in for pretty much any car or we have a bolt in cat to suit FG to suit standard dump. Tyres as well as wheel size can make a difference on the dyno. I have expressed this to the OP, but the car was presented to be tuned with a combination done by the owner, I know it has gone back for other issues, but it is not the tuners job to sort out why it's not making the power when they did not do the combo assuming the tune has been done correctly. If the tuner had supplied a package to make XXX amount of power then it is their job to make sure it does it and if it doesn't then they need to find out why, but if a car is presented with a combo done elsewhere it is just their job to tune it, if it doesn't perform it's not really their issue, but they should be willing to chase it but this may come at added cost.
  13. some 200 cpi cats are euro3 complient
  14. we have not had a single issue about the height of out 5" cats
  15. yes you are correct and one reason why they try to get the older cars off the road.
  16. which is why we have moved on from 1986
  17. they're all a pack of liars if you ask me, but deciding who is better and who is worse is a hard call. Despite what they are saying about the global economy, most small business are suffering with the current rules, something most employees do not see unless the business you worked for has closed up.
  18. recently had a territory in the shop that the owner was complaining about the roughness at idle, we diagnosed it to engine mounts, the owner told us that they had already been replaced elsewhere, we were still sure it was mounts and the owner agreed for us to replace them, which we did using genuine mounts, the problem was gone, not sure what brand the other shop had fitted but they were the cause of the problem.
  19. well you know how to fix that!
  20. yes mate, her car came out of warranty a couple of months back so we have fitted one to hers
  21. we have used the 5" 200 in a couple of 400 rwkw cars and one was 428 at 18.5 psi
  22. you would expect so if taking it easy
  23. unless using a good scan tool, here may be codes that do not show on a generic code reader
  24. we have recently fitted 5 of them and sold over 30 of them with the only complaint was 1 bracket appeared to have been welded incorrectly (not sure of the outcome though)
