  1. ok, I remember the car now :) yeah cat is a good move have ford felt the vibration and getting a new one for you or playing hard to get along with?
  2. yes the initial outlay puts a lot off but the gas system needs modifications to work so adds more cost
  3. no, more power on gas if liquid injected and tuned for it, no power loss at all on the same tune as 98
  4. we have several LPG turbo falcons making around or a bit higher than 300 rwkw and costing 68 cents a litre to run
  5. engine light will come on and car will overboost and go into limp mode, you will not be able to get a standard gas kit to suit your modded car and most will not be able to supply enough gas
  6. trying to organise it, but the shop has been very busy the last few weeks and the cars in the shop come first, hopefully be able to do something shortly though
  7. it's a bolt in one, we have seen 428 through the same cat (welded in on a BF), we have been selling these cats for approx. 3 years but recently had them make them up as bolt in for FG, these are normally dearer than the venom cats
  8. very common problem
  9. has not happened yet and it will be based on the 5" outlaw cat
  10. we were nice to you, we let it be dry for a few hours so you could have some fun, just got another off the dyno at the moment so that's why it's raining again
  11. noise was not a real concern at all although the controller did drop it a bit
  12. coz pumps dying
  13. the last car we fitted the voltage controller is still operating fine with the A1000 and has done maybe 20-30k since the install
  14. I'm thinking Gilly's lack of knowledge and lies are starting to be realised by many based on comments I have received
  15. keep to being a kitchen hand cause hopefully you know more about cleaning a kitchen than what you do about automotive stuff
  16. casting of the housing can have a huge affect to how large the port can go
  17. twin 044's are not perfect but seem to be a bit more reliable
  18. the stock flap can be kept but only if you want to do half a job and have a restrictive exhaust system to help keep boost levels under control
  19. are you expecting him to type it for every forum that they sponsor?
  20. have had 2 cars through the shop and between them they have had 6 A1000's, have another in the shop at the moment with a copy of the A1000, it started leaking before it even hit the dyno
  21. you may be lucky and get a rwc tester that has no idea and passes the car, but there is a big list of things that are technically not correct and including the cutting to fit the cooler. If you fit all stock parts and the actuator and flash it back to stock, the ecu should be able to make adjustments to cover the port job, well I would think it would, then it's just a case of hoping they do not see the cut but they may not look if all stock parts are fitted
  22. Car must meet it's emission specs, if tuned yours would be counted as not meeting them unless you get an emission test. What cooler, what air box, what cat? etc
  23. the bigger turbo also helps with the stepped coolers
  24. as Ralph said, there are seven contact points holding it in, not just 4, but yes, best to get the right parts and have it secured correctly
  25. what happens in the workshop, stays in the workshop
