  1. if you're happy with it outcome, then it's worth it
  2. cheap if new correct but if he has read or heard stories about him coming from the customer then he may have had his back up and not want to help, would not be very professional, but does happen
  3. not every business has the owner as the tuner. It's not up to the tuner to fault find if the car was presented for a tune only.
  4. afr is not great but no worse than what most have
  5. no, based on what I have seen and the other tuners I have spoken it's not possible, but yes I have seen the posts on the other forum, maybe he is just way better than the rest of us
  6. you need the turbo work
  7. GT and inline with the others we have done
  8. blade shape and size is critical to correct operation, as already mentioned, take the front pipe off and have a look at the blades yourself
  9. did one yesterday, stock power levels were between 303 and 310
  10. well set up shop and start making them :)
  11. your video demonstrates it well, I'm still confused why all the cars I have seen are still running fine after valve timing issues, I'm wondering whether you have phasers that are issues????
  12. depending on your mechanical aptitude, they can be adjusted on the car, but most people would be easier to remove the turbo, adjusting it is not going to fix your problem if it's jerking
  13. No, not normally part of the tune cost. if the tuner fitted the actuator a different story but I the owner did it themselves or had somebody else do it, it's not the tuners issue to rectify somebody else's work, saying that, it should not be jerky and that may be in the tune which the tuner should sort out
  14. very strange then, as I have posted I have seen them with up to 3 teeth out and no issues after resetting the timing
  15. 2 teeth on the phasers or crank?
  16. only ever seen 1 stock one catch
  17. good job that it works for you , 18 psi makes the port not as critical as if you were trying to get 12 or 14 psi
  18. maybe the mechanic should sue the OP for providing a car with issues and increasing their workload for the day which could contributed to higher stress levels for the staff? where will it all end
  19. sue the bitch!
  20. what set up and what boost?
  21. welcome
  22. the gains would be pretty minimal, but the shifts can be made to be a lot cleaner, I have turned some of the spark cut back on on Bels car to help the trans live, the box is shifts reasonably firm but has the fart when the spark is dropped to protect the auto. with the tune full torque can be applied while stationary which can help with the launch
  23. not too late
  24. Bels car has had the ZF tune in it since the day it was released, this tune has varied all the time, the car drives a lot better, has positive shifts, takes off in first gear every time and at this point has not broken an input shaft
